Leo's Coney Island — Restaurant in Warren

I decided to leave a review later rather than immediately after my last experience. I've lived in this area my whole life and was a frequent customer for quite some time with hopes of change after seeing a pattern of disappointment with none that ever came. The staff is ever changing the cooks are either inexperienced or truly have no culinary skill nor degree and are generally teenagers and management is incredibly rude minus the one young man who runs the counter from time to time . However orders were often made wrong or items forgotten and fries were always undercooked I was always made felt to rush and eat my food instead of having a quiet peaceful enjoyable meal at my own pace even when buisness was slow. The experience of eating simple food in peace with manners is out the door at this restaurant there is no pride in a buisness who cares not for thier quality of control of food or care for great staff which I have repeatedly watched leave there store. It is a turn and burn here's your plate restaurant you don't like it leave sure will re cook it and make ypu wait longer ...there is no need to contact me either to try to get me to change my mind or my review. There is very little class at this restaurant and I'd rather eat at any other restaurant in the area please use this review as a wake up call to make some serious changes at this location. #1 on produce orders from your vendors buying fresher lettuce tomatoes would be a good start I use to be a food picker and delivery driver for a major food distributor in the area I know what restaurants buy cheap stuff and good stuff i know what restaurants order based upon company names look out for my future reviews as I will be frequenting restaurants in my area this is my job,what I do...

Awful awful awful! Came here for mother's day dinner with the mom's in the family and not only were we forgot about but we watched our food sit in the window. The bathrooms were completely dark nobody would fix them or even look at them and I had 2 little kids afraid to use the restroom. The girl working carryout had an awful attitude.

When we decided we had enough and we're going to leave our server decided to appear and ask us if she brought us our soup. We told her no she came back with water downed looking soup and we told her we were paying for my kids food and leaving. Then as we are waiting to pay for my kids food we heard the cook and server going back and forth about how the food was ready etc..but who wants to eat food that had been sitting up there for at least 20 to 30 min. There were a total of 8 tables with 3 servers working. ... . We also asked to speak to a manager and we were told there was no manager working. With experience working in the food industry I'm a very understanding person but this was completely horrible service. No communication, no checking on if my kids needed anything.

Would not recommend dining in to this location. Not one apology or care in the world, that their customers were...

Quality of food is standard Leo's Coney Island I am used to.

This review is rating the environment of the restaurant. One of the waitresses with black hair was helming the register and phone. We came in on 1/15/2019 around 7:30-8:00 PM and when we sat down all we could hear was the girl at the register yelling at the guys in the back and complaining to them on how she wants to turn the phones off because she was tired of taking orders. After about 10 mins we then heard her talking at the top of her lungs to the guys in the kitchen about how she saw him (Guy in the kitchen) eyeing someones daughter or girl and he better not come home tonight. The mood sounded like she was joking or wasn't fully serious but it was still really annoying to listen to her gossip to the people in the back of the kitchen, not to mention she sounded awfully trashy.

We left the restaurant wondering why there was no manager figure keeping the noise down because the girls in the back were really annoying to listen to. I understand it was late at night and they were probably ready to go home but its common courtesy that no one wants to listen to your stupid conversations especially when they are sitting...
