Lori's Cafe — Restaurant in Warren

Absolutely love this place. We lucked out on finding it about two years ago! First of all, the staff has never been anything but super kind and attentive, but never over bearing like some places can be. It's been the same older lady serving us most times we've been in, and I secretly adore her, lol. The food itself is also great, I've never been disappointed. The breakfast always hits the spot and you won't find better prices, either! It's a very small place but somehow that just makes it even more comfy. Will always be my and my boyfriend's favorite breakfast place! ♥️

The over medium eggs we ask for are cooked perfectly over medium, the sausage is high quality, the hash browns are brown and crunchy on the top but soft and fluffy in the middle. Prices are great. Service is casual, but it isn’t bad. They’re as attentive as they need to be. We had no idea we had to seat ourselves, but we followed suit after seeing some “regulars” do so.

The servers were nice, very homely place. Not the cleanest atmosphere, but no visible nasty either; meaning it’s not like the floors were dirty or the tables were sticky. It just wasn’t “clean”. The staff balanced the workloads well.

The food was only mediocre. It wasn’t “home cooked” taste, but it wasn’t bad either. Somewhere in the middle, worth the price. Even when the place has a line out of the door, the staff there does a phenomenal job at remembering orders, taking care of each table individually and exceeding expectations. People who look at this place thinking of it as just another "ok" place to try if everything else is closed, would be missing out a great deal. This is far from "just ok" as I believe it is family owned which in times like this is rare and in my opinion is much better than a bigger chain restaurant that may not have employees as passionate about their work.
