I've never had anything bad here really... Until today. So I'm changing my review. The pictures people posted about the shrimp fried rice show these big giant shrimp. It also has a generous portion of green onion. Now these were people's photos that they uploaded... Not the photos takee outee has on there. My shrimp fried rice are tiny little shrimp. There's also no egg and no green onion. There's no descriptions on ANYTHING so I decided to order Moo Goo Gai Pan. Smh. It has literally zero taste. I'm chewing... But there's no flavor. Not even mushroom or chicken flavor. Just zip... Zero.... Nada. It actually tastes as bad as it looks. And it comes with white rice!?!?!? Thank goodness I ordered some chicken fried rice. Now on the other hand... The hot and sour soup is THE best I've ever had. The pork lo mein is also as good. I guess the treasures are buyer beware. I'm going to be ordering a lot less now because I have very little money to splurge... And I'm not going to splurge with something that's terrible... And I'm not going to order the same things all the time. ~~~EDIT~~~ I just started eating, "THE best hot and sour soup" the chicken looked like weird shaped carrots from all the spice. There's also I give up. $35.00 down the drain. I don't know if this is a Monday problem... A veterans Day problem... Or a general, "they're going downhill" problem.

There is a reason the reviews lately haven’t been that good. We were deciding on dinner and wasn’t sure if the food was going to be okay based on the recent reviews. We chose to order something cause we had not a whole lot of time to cook that night. The employee who charged me for my food walked out, face glued to his phone. Then after a couple seconds of silence while he was finishing his text, he asked if the order was online. Now I’ve worked in the food industry for several years and I knew exactly what kind of slop they made as the food cannot be handled properly if the service is handled this way. We decided to ignore it anyways cause we were hungry and figured how bad could it really be? The fried rice must’ve been the real problem cause out of the 5 of us, 3 of us got really sick, threw up and so on. The other 2 who just had some mild discomfort ate the white rice. I had the fried rice and even my chicken didn’t seem properly cooked through on some of the bites, so I couldn’t even fully finish my plate. It’s now sitting in my fridge cause I figured I would just try to eat it tomorrow but now I can’t even touch it after seeing everyone else and how they reacted. Would probably never eat Chinese food again unless I heard of a place from a reputable source cause this is the third strike for Chinese takeout places for me.

I loved this place as a little girl. My parents would always buy me an order of the chicken with garlic sauce. Since we moved I've never got to eat from that place again. Until today, when I decide to drive far out to finally eat some. I ordered a large chicken with garlic sauce and steam dumplings. Sadly, this place wasn't as good as I remembered it to be but the chicken with garlic sauce wasn't too bad. The reason why I'm giving this place two stars is because while I was eating the dumplings I found a piece of metal. Luckily I felt it in my mouth before swallowing it. It was about an inch long.

Wow I am surprised how good this place was. I took a chance and ordered on uber eats. Got priority delivery from uber eats cuz I want my food to me asap and hot. Upon delivery, food was hot. Surprisingly food was very good! I ordered the brocoli beef combo, general tso chicken combo and some brown gravy. The meat was perfect! Everything I would want in americanized greasy Chinese food. The beef was perfect, nice and tender, unlike some other places where they have tough beef. Gravy was great, good consistency, did not thicken too much after left out like other places. Best general chicken yet-purely on tenderness. A lot of places overcook theirs, this one was perfect, meat was juicy. I'd consider myself a Chinese take out enthusiast and have tried differently places all over the area. I used to work in a Chinese restaurant as well for a few years, where I considered their takeout the best. But the brocoli beef and general chicken I had at Takee Outee, dare I say, surpassed it. If you're looking for authentic, go elsewhere. This is the tender, saucy americanized chinese takeout you want...
