12th Street Grill — Restaurant in Warren

1st time customer today. I checked out pictures of the food, and they had a decent amount of positive reviews, so we (my friend and I) stopped in to eat around 1pm. There was only one other table in the restaurant, a 2 top, they had already been served. 2 servers were working. We sat ourselves at a table. It was dirty, just my luck. We got waters, they must have already been sitting ready made with ice and water for a while, the cups were covered in condensation and there was zero ice in the cups, just cold water. Our server was of foreign dacent and seemingly has no experience, and if she does, she is just a bad server. She brought our food and forgot to bring the fries. Brings the fries, doesn't bring ketchup. Had to ask for napkins because she didn't bring any. Never refilled our water, never checked on us. Her and the other server stood at the counter, both of them staring at their phones. We just sat n sat n sat n waited for boxes and a bill. She dropped the box off and said "enjoy". I was already done eating, "Enjoy" what, boxing my food? At this point we were the only ones left in the restaurant, so how are 2 servers just feet away from us not able to notice that we are sitting there for a lengthy amount of time, waiting to leave, but aren't able to because they neglected to do their jobs, because they were busy playing on their phones smh. Menu is overpriced for what you get, $6 to add fries to a burger, and you get a small handful of them. Sub bun was stale, picked up my sub, and it fell apart all over my plate. Side salad was a giant dinner plate of deep green wet romaine, no thanks....

I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger deluxe which was suppose to include coleslaw. I never received my coleslaw . The hamburger tasted like grease and the mushrooms were on the bottom of the burger and the Swiss cheese was on the top. Any of the other Swiss Mushroom burgers that I ever had always had the mushrooms and cheese together not separate. They didn't ask if I would like the hamburger with pink, medium or well done. The hamburger was like tough leather. Any place else I have had a mushroom Swiss it came with lettuce, tomato and onion. In this place you had to order it separately at an additional charge. My friend and I sat there the only ones left in the restaurant for quite awhile and the waitress did not bring us the bill. My friend had to go up to the cash register to...

(EDIT): So I am no longer travelling to MI for work, and I must say this is always on my mind and in topic of conversation, you know they say if you love something let it go, but if it comes back it was always meant to be from the start. Well 12th Street Grill is my HEART and I wish i could eat there everyday like i used to.

Been hearing about this place finally got to go and man I need to go back like yesterday. Food amazing space could have been better but I like the small gathering its like a hidden spot only the cool kids know about. Everything came out hot fresh and with a smile.
