Last night we arrive at the local airport. We got our hotel and noticed a couple restaurants. We’ve been in a plane and decided to walk. Both restaurants were closed and the only thing that appears to be open was Burger King. We go into the restaurant and Properly greeted. The next thing we are told before we even over order our food, they are serving takeout only. There’s no reason for that other than they were lazy and didn’t want to maybe help clean one table. There was no one else in the restaurant and they were open until 9 o’clock according to the sign. We got there at 8 o’clock. I said thank you for the warm and welcoming greeting to The manager. He was identified as such by a lovely man at the counter. I was stunned a manager would say something like that when the manager sets the tone for the successful and friendly service expectations of a travel worn customer. We ordered our food as we were in need and walked back to the hotel. After taking two bites I threw my food into the trash. Tied up the bag so the smell was concealed! This has been going on for a while and it keeps getting worse. This place has very rude managers. The manager, She doesn't treat everyone equally and she has yelled at customers especially through the drive thru. She doesn't help out and will leave 1 employee alone in the kitchen when its busy. She sometimes leaves too or just doesn't help. There will also be 1 employee at the front counter. There should be two in the kitchen and two in the front if its busy. I get places are understaffed but the managers should help every employee and schedule three people at least on the same day. The food is good when fresh and when its not busy. When it is busy the food isn't the best but its probably because the employees are stressed and not getting help. I've seen managers so many times just leave or don't help. Read moreMy husband And I normally love Burger King. This time, this Burger King was disappointing. The parking lot as well as the drive-thru was exceptionally empty... We soon found out why. After pulling up to the order kiosk, we ordered and then proceeded to sit at the window for 10 minutes. normally when you're waiting for food, that's not a very long time, however I don't know that I've waited at other Burger Kings at long. If we hadn't already paid we would have left because we were in a time crunch and we were now going to be late. keep in mind that there were maybe two cars in the parking lot and there was no one in the drive through ahead of us. But then time that we sat there two other cars pulled behind us. There was also a young lady inside that was looking at her phone and not doing anything.
