Extremely poor customer service. I was at the Harrisburg Target and they only had 1 left of an item that I needed more of. We called the Lititz store to see of they had the item I needed and they said they had 12 in stock. My husband asked if they could hold 8 for us. They said yes and that they would be at guest services for 24 hours. We get there an hour later and were told they can't hold them and they were out on the floor. We went looking for the item and it was not on the floor. So we went to electronics where an employee was working. By this point I find myself feeling a little bit annoyed. She proceded to tell me that there was a limit of 1 per guest after she called someone on the radio. My family of 4 was there so I said great, I want 4. She said it didn't work that way. Apparently we were 1 guest even though there were 4 of us standing there. I wasn't overly nasty with the girl but I was obviously not happy at this point. I didn't swear or scream at her but I wasn't all peaches and cream. She said that she needed me to "be kind" to her and that she needed to "protect herself". Seriously?! I was standing 10 feet away from her, didn't curse or threaten her in any way! I drove an hour, was promised 8 and now you want to give me 1. Anyone would be irritated! She walked away. She was probably too scared to come back to let us know what was going on because we didn't see her again. She honestly should find another position where she doesn't have to deal with people. If she thought I was scary I pity the poor girl when someone really flips off on her! The manager came soon after she walked away. He did give me 4 and really didn't say much at all when I explained the situation to him. Totally unprofessional and need to get their act together! Read moreI have to tell You that I Never return anything, Today I had to return two things, I even filled out a comment card because the young lady was so exceptional, I Believe Her name is Juliana, and then, I also have to tell you about another All-Star Employee, Casey in Your tech department, He’s every aging persons Dream employee, He Seriously answered So many questions and knew everything the is to know about Detailed information regarding every cell phone manufacturer, Cell cases, care and Handling of their goods and all the accessory merchandise, Juliana was very very Helpful and so kind as a great person o have in the front of your store, But I couldn’t imagine anyone in the world Better than Casey in the Back, I Hope you promote them Both and give both of them Exceptional career tracks, Casey should really be something like Your manager over regional tech services or trainer for stores, and Juliana would be so great to also foster employees as another fine role model for what you wish every customer service experience should be like.... Read moreII would give it a Zero if possible...I went to this target today to pick up an item (Bouncy house by Little tikes) that was put on hold for me at the electronic department. I drove 30 miles from Reading, PA to purchase this item. When I got to the electronic department, I saw the item sitting there and told the cashier that I was the one that had the item on hold. She asked if I had any more shopping to do and I told her no, that was the only item ai came to pick up. Therefore, she said i could pay for it back there and I did. I had her stable that receipt the return receipt I had from the target in my town which i returned due to it being defective. I’m 8months pregnant and as I was walking out the store, I felt the urge to easy myself in the restroom. Since I had already purchased the big bulky bouncy house, I though it be safe to take it with me to the restroom because I didnt want it stolen or confused for an unpurchased item. As I started using the toilet a target associate came in and said I wasnt allowed to take an UNPURCHASED ITEM in the restroom. I asked her how does she know that the item was unpurchased and told her I took it in there with me because IT’S MINE. She said sorry and left. However, as I left the restrooms and head to the exit, I was followed by the same girl who asked me of she could see my receipt. I was highly offended as i had just told her that I purchased it. Anyway, I showed her my receipt and she apologized for asking for it. May be I just fit the description of a shoplifter since I’m BLACK because I know for a fact that this wouldn’t have been the case if I was a caucasian.
