Went into this pizza restaurant with a friend. We went for dinner and decided to order salads instead. Before going in, we checked out the menu on their website. When we both placed our order, Ceasar shrimp salad consist of iceberg and romaine lettuce, topped with store bought croutons and very light parmesan cheese. Ceasar dressing was typical store bought. The other salad was grilled chicken and shrimp. First complaint: Ceasar salad was not your typical. Ceasar salad has no iceberg lettuce, pieces. Strictly romaine, not wet pieces which caused tge lettuce to wilt, brown. Price was true to the menu on the website. Second complaint: Chicken/Shrimp salad. Again, some lettuce pieces wet and wilted, brown. Chicken and shrimp, took home, left lettuce. Price was stated on website was different from what we were charged. Approximately, $5 more?? Asked waitress about this. She went to ask someone else, came back and stated the menu state "subject to change" and on the door they have a sign on price increase, something on those lines. Okay, "subject to change on menu" , but sign on door, NOT! When we left pizza shop, know sign posted?? No business etiquette! I have been to this place several times before the Covid and it was good. Last few times, has been poor. Unfortunately, we will not be soliciting them anymore. Food not up to their potential. Place looking dismal! FYI, you need to fix your door plate when entering your pizza shop. They have the metal plate off, the metal piece is open at the entrance and someone can trip easily and...

Rating for pizza: Very good Pizza (4/5 for that).
Getting the pizza: (1/5 stars). The process of placing an order is archaic. They do not have online ordering system. Understandable they are family owned, want to keep it in house etc..but I am sure every kid in the family would know how to set up a simple pay and authorize ordering system. There are pre-built restaurant template websites for this, free of cost! But well..
So, you have to call in to place the order. Well, there is only one phone line, for the entire restaurant! So, if I call in and am placed on hold (like you almost always would be, for 10 minutes at a time, because limited staff etc., no one else can call in during that hold time, you will receive a busy tone: Imagine the amount of potentially lost business just because you are not up to speed with technology!!)
Suggestions: Have one person dedicated to taking phone orders only. This will increase intake of orders and more business. OR have more phone lines OR get an online system setup. Its easy and Free!!
All these solutions are very easy and will help the business! Hope to see the restaurant thrive in the times of...
Read moreWe had a fantastic dinner at Giovannis this evening. They were packed. Good thing we had a reservation! Emily was our waitress. She was amazing, very attentive and would definitely hope to have her when we return. We started with the bread basket which was fresh, warm and nice flavor. We had two appetizers, the Bruschetta that was amazing, the crostini type bread was light and the balsamic drizzle just made it super tasty. The other appetizer was a zucchini parm stacker that came with garlic knots. Every person at the table loved this. It was so crunchy and flavorful. I ordered the new dish which was a shrimp, scallop and crab topped risotto with mushrooms and tomatoes in a light pink sauce. So incredibly delicious, portions were so big and with all the other apps we had I took most home. The others with me had the shrimp and crab ravioli as well as penne pasta with sausage and peppers. Very large portions, so plan on leftovers. Well worth the price. Our entire first experience here was wonderful and we would definitely recommend it! Thank you Emily for such a great evening as our waitress! We will...
