Dunkin' — Restaurant in Washington Township

After my long morning of getting up several kids to get on the bus or to get them to work, I venture to Dunkin' every morning to get my terrific cup of joe.The kids ( only referring to them as that because I have children of the same age) they are always upbeat ,smiles, happy and polite. My order is usually the same and it is consistently wonderful. They always say good morning and to have a great day or see you tomorrow. I only enjoy this Dunkin' Donuts on Egg Harbor Rd in Sewell, NJ as the coffee is always, fresh, hot even deliciously cold if I order an iced coffee, and the breakfast and donuts are always a wonderful treat. And the service for them being "kids" (even though they are young adults) is fabulous and the parents that raised them to be so wonderful deserves a pat on the back. Also to mention the Random Acts of Kindness runs deep at this Dunkin' Donuts. I always feel it refreshing to buy someone a cup of coffee or put their breakfast on my tab (I am by no means well off, I am just happy with my blessings). But let me tell you how taken back I have been that someone has treated me and my children to coffee or breakfast without hesitation has had me in tears many of times. I had the worst experience at the drive-thru today. First of all I waited sooooo long at the drive-thru. When I finally got to the speaker to put my order in which was only a mocca latte, how hard is it to make this? When I received this so called, simple Mocha latte it looked like she handed me a cup of chocolate milk. I then asked the girl if she put express in it she said with such an attitude, yes I put enough. Then she closed the window on me. I then proceeded to beep my horn twice maybe three times no one came to the window. I then drove around the drive thru again I told another girl this doesn’t taste right she said I’m sorry but we can’t take it back. I said well u can make me another one she closed the window and the drink fell from the counter all over my car door and then proceeded to laugh with the other girl who first made me the mocha latte this is a disgrace people work hard for there money and expect it to get what they ordered. She gave me the mocha latte but it still was not right! I will never ever go that Dunkin again. If stale donuts is your thing then this is epic location! I feel after 2 pm the food should be half price with understanding it's stale. . . I was there about 5 pm 7/2. Ordered 3 Boston cream and 3 chocolate frosted. For lack of better word... Taste like plastic.. Well at least no chocolate flavor AT ALL! At least sweet/surgery flavor. But chocolate is not present or maybe it was hiding somewhereelse?? (Maybe being dry and stale hindered it?) Tho I doubt it.. Waste of money... Service was ok. But having a tip bowel in drive thru window... Was something.. I don't know the word.. But felt like asking for tip when they did not have the doughnuts I wanted? I mean I would not tip someone for answering the phone.. Or in person for saying 'Good morning.. How can I help you..?" Maybe it's just me...tips are above...
