On average I spend $150-$200 a week at this location. No more. I refuse to be disrespected by their young unprofessional female staff one more visit: you can order over the phone hours in advance for pickup And it does you no good because they won’t take payment over the phone. When you get here to pick your order up they have a different policy or an inconsistent policy every single Thursday since this pandemic. 5 inside, 10 inside,. I’m waiting outside because the older gentleman in front of me believes only five can be in the building Today, when we finally convinced him that he could go inside.., I go to the counter for my pick up and I’m told to get in line which at that point the two other women who were behind me are now in front of me.
I’m on a lunch break Which is the whole point of me being here And ordering in advance. Im picking up lunch for my entire office on our only break.
Forget trying to explain this to the girls at the counter. All 3 of them proceeded to bark at me in front of the rest of the store over the counter. When I got to the counter finally I tried to explain to her but forget it, forget it. I hope the manager plays back the video from this afternoon and sees exactly what went on in here because I’m not gonna be talked to by these idiot kids one more day like this. I’m trying to spend my hard-earned money in this location. I called six hours early and still had multiple problems with the order and pick up. There’s a million other stores right now dying for business. I can order our corporate lunch from anywhere on Thursday’s but I continue to try to give you our business. I don’t have the time, the money, or the patience to work this hard to spend my money at your business after today. Under the given circumstances I think Ive been tolerant and understanding of the minor inconveniences or delays however today their mouth, their tone, their choice of words, and their body language is/was unacceptable to me as an adult woman and a business owner.
I was spending at least $500 a month on average 12 months a year plus our catered events and I’m done. I’m Done w your young disrespectful female staff. My own children do not talk to me like your staff spoke to me today. It’s not the first time, not the second time but it’s the last time. God bless the older counter woman who has to work Every day with these...
Read moreI have loved Liscio's since moving to the are over 3 years ago. My main store on 47 in Glassboro closed about a year ago. This store is now my favorite. I'm impressed at many things liscio's offers. And there are many reasons for coming into Liscio's at any of their convenient locations. First, the taste and quality of the food. The bread is Amazing. I rarely buy bread at the grocery store any more. Don't waste money on cheap bread. For a few pennies more the anchor of you sandwich SHOULD be high quality bread that adds flavor instead of adding nothing. Second reason: prices. Their prices are more than reasonable. If you see some goodie and think it is priced a little High, take a closer look. You will see high quality ingredients and plenty of the good stuff so the price is really more than fair. My favorite treat is the Black and White cookie. The white side is the best! Third : staff. There where at least 5 delightful, talented, conscientious, hard working young ladies on the job during my visit. It's easy to tell when someone doesn't care about their job but that's not the case here. Every one of the girls were busy, and so well trained any one could have been running the joint at any given time. I was very impressed by all of them. Their tip jar should have been packed. I added my 2 bucks so don't be a cheapskate when you are provided their great service. If I were 21, I would never leave this place. Fourth : the deli. My favorite thing to order is the large Italian Submarine sandwich. It is by far the best sub you can get anywhere. It cost me $30. Gasp!!?? Not at all. I order with double meat. It weighs about 5 pounds. It's amazing, and well worth it. I have them cut it into 4 pieces. Each one is about 8" and is a meal which stuffs me. So I'm paying about $7.50 per meal. That's cheap with the super high prices since January 2020 folks. This visit they had beautiful pizza in the deli display . So I tried a couple slices of hot wings pie. Wow! Sorry pizza hut, I have a new go to pizzaria. There is a good custom non chain pizza joint around the corner but I won't be paying their high prices again. Liscio's is now my go to pizza joint, bread joint and deli. When I go grocery shopping at Sam's up the street my next stop will always be this location of Liscio's...
Read moreMy son stays a few doors down from this wonderful bakery. It is actually a combination retail and commercial bakery. Their products are sold all over New Jersey and Southeast Pennsylvania, mostly breads. However, the store has everything including deli and the best hoagies I've ever eaten. Everything is cut fresh. Meaning if you order a sandwich or a hoagie all with a meat the vegetables and everything that goes on your sandwich is cut specifically for that item. Freshness is a tradition at Liscio's. They have a lot of staff, very polite young ladies with excellent customer service. They also have a wonderful dessert bakery which has appropriate barriers to keep customers from leaning over or near the products and compliance with local health regulations. You have to wear a mask. I never have a question about the cleanliness and wholesomeness of the products that I buy here. They are very keen on customer service. They also have prepared items that they make in their own kitchen to take home and reheat. There is usually a line late in the day. However they have plenty of staff and the wait is never too long. I can't say enough about Liscio's Italian...
