My 87 year old father has been ordering here for the last 5 years or so (My Dad is hard of hearing and has some vision issues and walks with a walker) I recently witnessed a transaction with my dad and the delivery driver. The driver stated the order came to $18.50 my dad gave him $22.00 told him to keep the change. I thought that was extremely high price for a cheesesteak and fries??? I did inquire and discovered that the bill should have been $10.50 so my dad was ripped off for a total of $8.00 then there was also the tip of $3.50... which he would not tip $3.50 on a $10.50 bill. I told my father to call back and complain but he's a proud man and he said I will just let it go. At this point the family all decided to start keeping an eye on what was going on. On another occasion a week or so later the driver came to the door and told my Dad that the $50 bill he had given the delivery driver was just a $20.00.... I immediately stepped in and corrected the driver and I got a MY BAD from the driver.... I told my father to call and complain to manager again he decided to let it go. And that he would be more careful in the future (keep in mind although my father lives under our roof he has a separate room with its own entrance) just last week the driver came with a delivery order that was $10.50 my dad gave the driver a $20 bill the driver stated he had no change and started to leave I was in the the room out of sight my dad then called to the driver to come back and said what do you mean you have no change ...don't worry about it I'll just keep it at that point my dad said give me my money back and take the food back......I insisted this time that my dad call the manager and tell him what's been going on to all of our surprise the manager could care less and then told my dad not to order here anymore..... The next day I tried to call the manager he wouldn't even get on the phone so I stopped in to SEE him he will not come out of the kitchen..... SAD He lost our business my brothers and sisters business my children's business and as many people I can tell from our church and on Facebook..........
Read moreWent to Randazzo's because we were in the area and had a gift certificate. More on that later. We had the gnocchi in vodka sauce and penne in vodka sauce. Both came with a choice of soup or salad. We chose soup - chicken pastina and chicken/sausage with pasta. Both soups were very delicious and were served with garlic knots. The waitress returned several times to see if we needed anything and to see if we were ready for our main courses. The main course came out after we were done the soups. Both were delicious. The gift certificate - we won the certificate in a basket auction several months ago. The certificate was provided to the auction by Anthony who owned the restaurant at that time. Apparently Anthony had some problems with the restaurant ( money, service, quality, etc.??)and gave it up (sold it??) a couple months ago. Because of the money issues, the new owners could not honor the certificate. While we were very disappointed, we stayed for dinner anyhow and we are glad we did as everything was delicious. As an unexpected plus, the current owners gave us a soft chocolate chip cookie and a canoli on the house. Just like everything else they were delicious. Whenever we are back in the Sewell NJ area we would...
Read moreSouth Jersey is kind of a wasteland when it comes to food. What is considered good here would be junk in an area with real high quality restaurants. Randazzo's is no exception. Randazzo's is just another one of the thousands of pizza shops in South Jersey. Unlike North Jersey which has a multitude of really good Italian food and great pizza the SJ area leaves a lot to be desired. I tried several items at Randazzo's including your standard pizza and Panzarottis. The pizza was close your eyes and you wouldn't know which pizza shop you were in. Floppy crust and less than remarkable sauce. Basically every other pizza place South of Trenton. I bought Panzarottis twice. The first time was fine the second time they looked fine but somehow were uncooked inside. The cheese was still mostly unmelted. I'm not sure how you deep fry something that way and get bad results but they did. The service is even less attractive. They are not rude just totally indifferent. If one of the girls at the counter actually smiled her face may crack. They call it a bistro which hints that you can dine in but it is kind of dark and not especially attractive inside it is more unused looking. Prices are not bad but they do tack on 3.6% for...
