Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Washington Township

The Unicorn Sprinkles on the Cotton Candy and Vanilla Gelati is Heaven on Earth!!! The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because for 2yrs my fiancé has been trying to taste the Peach water ice and it is always sold out!

**Edited: Well, after I left the above review Rita's actually responded and left their email. I have since used the email and it worked!

In my first review I stated that my fiancé has been trying to taste the Georgia Peach 🍑 water ice for 2yrs. Well, Rita's responded to my review stating that they rotate, but have it in house just need to request it.

So, one day at 10am my fiancé and I we craving Rita's and I saw that they weren't open until 12pm. I decided to use the email and request that they have Georgia Peach 🍑 that day. Then, around 2pm I called and asked if they had Georgia Peach 🍑 that day and she said yes!

Well, I got in my truck and drove up to Rita's and got my usual of Cotton Candy ice cream and Cotton Candy water ice gelati with Unicorn Sprinkles along with a Georgia Peach water ice and vanilla ice cream gelati for my fiancé. My usual was delicious as always! My fiancé tasted just like peaches and cream! Thank you Rita's for making my experience better and forcing me to change my review from 4 to 5...

They are fantastic! If you love a certain specialty water ice that they dont have daily, ask for them to make it and they will actually do it! It will be available the very next day. Now this may sound corny or a lil extra, but people who love sweet treats know what I'm talking about.. when you have a hankering for something specific, you simply MUST jump at the opportunity to satisfy that urge! Now I had to wait patiently, or not lol, til the next day, but the anticipation made it worth the wait. In all seriousness, it is just pretty cool that this Rita's takes requests. That right there is worthy of 5 stars. Variety and taste give them 5 stars too. Now it's not the closest to my house but I'm addicted.. addicted to their banana split cream. I'm going to finish this cup now and then I'm going to a meeting for my addiction! It's my last ice I swear. Maybe I'll just go to a meeting tomorrow after work as there is not a Rita's in sight in that area. No doubt my attempt tonite would fail terribly.. there's a Rita's in my way on my way! I couldn't make it from my house without stopping for their icy deliciousness and, at this point, I surely dont trust myself. But I can stop at...

Customer service was very poor. The young lady acted like she had a problem with us after I told her the other Rita's on Blackwood/Clementon Road was still taking the coupons from the newspaper because of COVID-19 interrupting the 'coupon period'. I have NEVER felt such COLD SHOULDER service in my 40 years of living. 🧐 I was really upset and wanted to say something to her but I decided not to stoop to her level. Oddly though, she must of said Something to her co-workers because they all turned around and looked at me and my husband as we were leaving. That REALLY made me angry and I though about going back to her window, but I didn't. Me and my husband just went home. But I will Never spend my money at THAT Rita's Italian Ice again. (While I'm trying NOT to think it was a prejudice situation.)😔 On another note, the quart of water ice we bought - blackberry and cotton candy - was very good (even though she Didn't fill the container to its fullest...
