My boyfriend and I were in the Graham area to do some errands and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat so we decided Big Daddy's. When we entered inside, we saw all the retro records on the walls and a cozy dining area where there were booths and tables, tables and chairs, and even a waiting seating area. The music playing was lots of 70s and 80s music which was very nice. The cashier was welcoming since the moment we entered and was patient while we were figuring out what to order for our lunch. We decided on a Hawaiian chicken burger, 3 chicken tenders meal with fry sauce, and a fountain drink. I love their iced tea options as you can choose between four different times of iced tea flavors.
After a sufficient amount of time, we received our orders which was piping out. The cook brought out the wrong sauce for our chicken tenders but we brought it up to our cashier and he switched it out quickly. The French fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned well, though it really went well with their fry sauce. I really like the Hawaiian chicken burger but wish it wasn't so messy as it made the burger soggy. My boyfriend really enjoyed his chicken tenders as it was juicy. My last complaint is that they do charge for each sauce, except ketchup but I know other stores give you fry sauce with any order of French fries or combo that comes with fries which I wish they did here. Other than that, it was a great experience and definitely worth trying out. I do want to try the ice cream or shakes as they seemed popular with the regulars or other...
Read moreId give zero if I could. Rude and very unaccommodating. My sister brought food in from next door to sit with us as we ate. Opened her food container to make sure it was what she asked and then asked to buy a tartar. The man was so rude about giving her a sauce, huffing and puffing and caught an attitude. Mind you, she asked to buy a bun and other food on the menu because she’s vegetarian and didn’t do anything to accommodate her just made her go next door because they wouldn’t just sell her a bun. The lady cook in the back come out talking as if we didn’t understand and pointing at the menu as if we didn’t understand. I calmly asked the man what was the problem and he made it seem as if she deliberately brought food in. There is a small sign at the front that read no outside food and drink which we didn’t see u til we were leaving and the man came out to rudely point at when we were leaving. The man at the counter could have simply said miss we don’t allow outside food which he never said nor mentioned a sign at the door. Could have been so simple but the rudeness and disrespect was...
Read moreFirst time stopping by today. Nice little joint—clean FOH, with a good view of the kitchen that seemed immaculately clean as well. We were greeted with a warm smile and “Welcome!” immediately upon entering, the ordering process was comfortable and friendly (I added bacon and avocado to my patty melt, and with each addition the individual taking my order repeated them back to me with a genuine emphasis that got me even more excited about it than I already was!)
I also got a peanut butter shake, and my wife got a cheeseburger, and our order came with a side of fries for each entree. We were happy to pay the extra $.50 per fry sauce, and with a 20% tip we ended up paying about $46 for our order. Though I thought the prices were a little steep at first, the flavor more than made up for it. 5/5 stars, hands down. The individual who welcomed us was friendly and conversational, but not over the top—they matched our energy and just made us feel like we were regulars. We’ll definitely be back.
Great name, by the way!! Keep up the...
