The Mad Potter Creative Pottery Studio — Local services in Graham

I had scheduled a try it out pottery wheel class for my son and had input the date in my calendar wrong and showed up a week early. Staff was so kind and accommodated us and let him and his cousin do the class even though it mean rearranging the studio and pausing the other stuff she was working on. Customer service with this was stellar compared to a similar situation and service I encountered at a Tacoma studio.

On top of that, she was so patient and helpful with instructing the kids on the wheel!

My friend and I also decided to paint some ceramics while they did their class and their process was super easy. We've done this elsewhere and the way the tables were set up and overall organization was a lot better than other places. There were a nice selection of glazes to choose from. I do wish there was a few more ceramics to pick from, but based on how many people were there and the posts on their social media, I imagine it was more due to timing and turnover of different items that there wasn't as much to choose from than anything else.

This place is my mother's second home! Haha, she has painted so many different projects from a little bumble bee to bigger projects that can easily take all day (If one wished to do so). Brought in a piece for them to replicate. Original cost was $25.00. They appeared to be excited to complete my request. I picked up the completed project, only to find that they charged me $55.00 plus tax, which resulted in $60.50 charge. My request was simple, as i left them the cracked sample to replicate. Purchased at a street fair, my expectation was roughly going cost the same price or a little more. They were unable to give a quote at drop off time, and when I requested the price, the clerk had to call someone for a price.
