Very irritated...Took my mom to the farmers market today for mother's day. The market itself is small but all the vendors were very nice. We took our boston terrier on a very short leash as she is very hyper. We had several people including small kids come say hi to her with no issues at all. Some lady who claimed she ran the market walked by my husband so close she bumped him and so of course our dog jumped. She does not bite but when she gets excited she will lick people to death. This lady starts screaming how our dog bit her and we had to take her back to the car. My husband instantly took her back to the car while this lady is continued to screaming at me from an isle away. I told her there was no reason to scream which made her scream louder if that is possible. She walked to the next booth holding her arm up telling everyone she just got bit. Finally she walked away but not 10 minutes later she is the next isle over having a conversation with a group of people waiving her arms around and holding onto stuff ... another wards she was just fine .... because she did not get bit. IF this lady does run the market she needs to learn how to deal with the public. I do not appreciate getting screamed at like a child and her making a scene just to make it. Grow up. Frontier park... please teach your employees or volunteers how to deal with conflict in a respectful manner. We go to many events out there. I will not be returning if you think it's OK for your people to scream at the people at your events. Additionally, if she didn't walk around like she owned the place and had respect for people's personal space and bumped into my husband this would not have happened in the...

I added 1 more star (total 3/5) because grounds are always well kept and grass is always cut nicely. Woodland trails are kept clear and accessible. Rarely any dog poop throughout park. However, often there are dogs off-leash, sometimes they approach us, which is a big deal since my dogs are reactive. I wish they would actually enforce leash laws as they advertise. There is usually some horse poop on the woodland trails as well (almost always some).
Park says closes at 8:30pm at entrance. Times are posted. HOWEVER, the maintenance people close the gates 15 minutes early and wanted us to leave. They were rude about it when we pointed out their sign saying we have 15min left. They need to obey their own rules or change their times!! It's not fair to close early without warning.
It's a good park on the smaller side but very well maintained! It is always picture perfect and has a horse arena and play area and picnic tables and bathrooms with heating. What more could you ask for?? I think it's great and has a good location too. They don't enforce their leash laws though and I've had unleashed dogs run up to me and my leashed dogs many times...
Read moreHad booked the lodge with kitchen back in March 2023 for a birthday party in November 2023. And was never told that there was no kitchen because they were remodeling it. Thank you to Mary who helped us a lot to get the kitchen from across the way. All though we had to travel back and forth with our food trays in the pouring rain was a little overwhelming but we did it. We cleaned up for the most part and then was told that we didn't have to do that. Then was rudely asked to see my contract. I asked why are you asking me to see the contract? I showed him on my phone and he's basically looking for the time we had booked it for. Which by the way we finished 2hrs early. 🤦🏽♀️ Will I ever rent from them again....
