I have been coming here for a while now and I can honestly say this is by far the best retro game store in on the Sea-Tac area (and trust me I’ve been to all of them). The owners Eric and his wife are very nice and fair with prices and quality of their items. I have been able to find games Ive been looking for that I have not been able to find elsewhere like Pokémon Crystal with a good condition original box, and even the bigger box/manual/and tray/Pokewalker for my Pokémon SoulSilver. Every time I come here, I always find myself spending easily 30 mins + even I don’t buy anything because I enjoy the atmosphere. You always feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. There is a wide variety of retro games and misc stuff you can find here to include good quality and CLEAN consoles! The owners take pride in their store and it shows from the moment you walk in to the time you walk out. The employees are also very socialable and knowledgeable; especially their recent hire who has helped the owners get into the Pokémon trading card business. I already have found a couple cards for my Pokémon card collection at great fair prices! If you have not been here yet, it is a great place to find retro stuff for either yourself, gifts for a friend or even your kids to introduce them to things you grew up with as a kid. I don’t normally do reviews on anywhere cuz I personally never see the point, however, Graham Games deserves 5 stars for how well they treat to their customers and take care of their business. I easily come here couple times a week to always check to see if they have any new items I might be interested in. You won’t be disappointed...

I don't often go out of my way to write a review, nor one of such length on anything. I don't normally have such a positive reception with any store. Saying that, I fully believe after my experiences with stores in the area. Graham Games is the best retro store in the greater Tacoma area, no exception. The prices for purchase are overwhelmingly fair, the staff is exceptional, trade-in for cash or credit is great, and the store is organized perfectly.

I bought a black ps2 slim & 5 games from them for good prices on all, and after getting to test it at home, I discovered that the disc reader had scratched up two of the games I got with the console in a perfect ring shape. I knew there was an issue with the console. Thankfully, there's a 30-day warranty on consoles from this shop I returned the following day. Spoke with the staff, and we all learned that the ribbon cable on the laser wasn't retracting all the way, thus scratching any disc put into the console. I knew it could happen with the slim, though I had not seen it in years. They swapped the console and the discs of the two games it ruined, and even gave me a $5 discount on another game for the hassle. Which I gotta say is above what I'd expect of a retro game store. I fully understand issues like these slipping through the cracks when refurbishing old consoles, but thanks to their policy and helpful staff, I'm able to start rebuilding my ps2 collection with no further issue! I'd recommend anyone looking for current or retro games(or misc collectibles and pokemon tcg!) Wow!! I had such a lovely experience here. I recently felt a nostalgic pull to play through PKMN SoulSilver and called on a whim to several stores hoping to find it. I was lucky to find a copy here. The store is a bit a drive, so I was praying it wouldn’t be a fake copy (like some GameStop/Amazon sell.) I can’t stress enough how worth it it is to come support these folk. The owner allowed me to inspect the cartridge, and even used one of their own DS consoles to ensure everything worked properly. I was so impressed with the sheer amount of selection and fair prices! Old GBA, newer gameboys, and even vintage Pokémon box sets. It felt like a collectors dream. I feel like because they’re more out of the way, you’ll find rarer items here. SoulSilver easily sells for upwards of 150-200$ in some cases, and I got mine for 100 flat. This is clearly a family run business, and it feels good to support small.
