Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Washington

It’s really unfortunate that I have to write this review because I do enjoy coming to this Dutch bros when I am in town visiting however, I never know the experience I’m going to get at the window. It’s mixed experience everyone. Either I get a good interaction at the window or all my drinks are messed up. Today I went through around 1:10pm and got a 5 drink order ( 2 separate transactions) and each drink there was something wrong. My lid on my extra hot drink wasn’t on all the way on and I had said “can you please put the lid on all the way?” And she said “it is, it’s just double cupped so it doesn’t look like it” so I grabbed the drink and showed her that it wasn’t on all the way and some of the drink popped up on the lid. After that, I asked for a nitro with extra cream and soft top and when she handed it to me, it was just a black nitro with soft top. I asked her to remake it and she just scooted the soft top over and started pouring the cream and I and I just stopped and asked her to remake it completely. Lastly, I asked for a Hop Scotch, it wasn’t topped off correctly nor it have the caramel drizzle. I heard her say to the person next to her that it didn’t come with caramel drizzle(it does). My last drink was a small iced kicker. When drinking that drink on the way home I noticed lots of coffee grind and went to the bottom which is gross. The quality was not there.

With that being said, I wasn’t completely satisfied with my experience at DB today. However, neither of us were rude to each other it just looked like they didn’t want to remake my drinks at all and that they were annoyed.

Like I said, I’m from out of town and look forward to coming to this Dutch bros but I needed to write review and hopefully they take it as a learning experience so we can look forward to next...

What a day today has been. What a way to start a milestone of a birthday!!! I was out of bed and at my computer at work at 6:00 AM. From there it was 2 more Sheena boot camp sessions, lessons, and then a trip to Frontier Park as we, Rusty Bar Ranch, will be selling pony/horse “trail rides”, next week at the Pierce County Fair. August 7 - August 10th.

After walking the trail several times to point out the blackberries, nettles, thistle, and overhanging branches to the junior ROTC volunteers, I was hot, and thirsty. As much as I drink water, it just wasn’t cutting it.

As we pulled out of the parking lot, I saw Dutch Bros. and told Ray to stop. Amazingly enough there were NO cars ahead of us, but that quickly changed.

I saw their mocha freeze with topping and that was not only my choice, but Ray and Grace’s, my employee, as well. I forgot the birthday person’s drink was free so I upped mine to a 24 oz., once I learned I could upgrade the size. Ray and Grace chose to stick with the 16 oz.

As usual, Dutch Bros. did not disappoint!!! They were so good and EXACTLY what we needed!!! They are the perfect amount of coffee, chocolate and cream. I highly recommend them!!! Unfortunately, I wasn’t planning to write a review so I did not...

Sadly, this was the worst coffee shop experience I've ever had which was on this past Sunday (9/29/25 around 11:30am). We were 2nd in line and a barista brought out our drink to us. The car in front of us seemed to have had their drink done wrong as they handed it back in the window. The barista at the window was chatting away with this car and ignored the fact that there were others in line waiting to leave while they worked to get the order correct. When the car finally left, we stopped to explain to the girl that she was inappropriate with regards to customer service. Instead of her recognizing that she was being completely disrespectful to others who were waiting, she argued with us telling us that we were being disrespectful to her customer....when in fact, she was the one who was being disrespectful to us and those behind us. As a result, we've concluded we simply cannot return to this Dutch Bros. I would hope that someone would talk with her and help her to understand what customer...
