Burger King Grand Mound Washington July 18th, 2024
If you’ve ever read one of my reviews then you know I try to adhere to the policy of “if you can’t say anything good about someone then say nothing at all “. On this day my wife and I decided to have a decent moderate lunch at a Burger King, as we don’t have one in our town so we drove to another area. The first part was excellent as the order taking lady in window #1 was very easy to understand and delightful to work with. I even told her so when I drove up to pay. Window number two had a nice young man who politely gave us our drinks and instructed us to move to a parking spot – as part of our order was incomplete. After a few minutes our food was brought out and we thanked the employee and got back on the road as we opened our sandwich wraps. One of mine, the first was a burger and the bun was all dried out but I was pretty hungry so I accepted it. My wife went to open her “Original Chicken Sandwich “which is served on a Hoagie roll that was dried and stiff especially on the bottom. Though I did need to drive a few blocks to turn around I took the chicken sandwich back to the restaurant where I waited my time in line . Immediately the young woman at the counter asked me if there was a problem. I produced the receipt and laid the sandwich on the counter and told her my sandwich was dry but I had accepted it however, my wife’s sandwich was dried out and unacceptable. Things went south when she took four or five fingers and grabbed the wrapper around the sandwich and pressed into it. She said, “ so what’s wrong with it ? “ I told her it was dried out and perhaps the bread is all sitting under a fan, that I just wanted it replaced. She asked if I wanted to keep it or throw it away and I said, no just replace it and you can go ahead and throw it away for me. The nearest trash was quite a few steps away into the middle of the lounge area and she had a disposal area right where she was standing. She refused to throw it away, again telling me to do it. I said I can’t believe you won’t throw the sandwich away for me and she said I was rude and that she didn’t have to serve me at all. I then carried the sandwich to the middle of the store and into the trash. When I got back up to the counter she said “ AND YOU’RE NOT EVEN GOING TO GIVE ME A CHANCE TO THROW IT AWAY? “...now that was the weird part for me! Right then another employee handed the new Original Chicken Sandwich to her and without looking or speaking to me she threw it on the counter and walked away. I said not one more word to her. In the parking lot I noticed a woman employee of BK and asked if she was the manager. She said she was one of the managers and how could she help me. I told her this story and she apologized for what we had just been through. She was nice and had a great attitude. Unfortunately not everything is perfect in this world and we will run into difficult people but between my wife and I we have over sixty years of retail experience and customer service. Read moreEasily the respect towards there customers is ever lacking, 8:20PM Juan 10th I just gotten to the ordering screen no cars ahead or behind, drive thru employee was very rude almost robotic when I placed my order. I was told to pull to the second window for a cold drink that’s all I ordered. As I pulled off you could hear the staff laughing I realized what had happened as he instructed me to bypass the paying terminal hence the laughter. As I passed by the paying terminal there was a lady and a guy ( my review is primarily about the guy that took the order ) you could hear him laughing as he seems to see me drive by as I pass it I heard the first window open intentionally late and ofc I only followed the headed instruction. I then wait 2 min before I even get attended I could see the same guy again with both hands up on a wall almost stretching I assume back turned to the window, as the first window person came he asked if I had ordered something completely different. I explain that he was the one that asked me to bypass the first window he then explains oh right your the ice coffee okay he then just hesitated and waits for me to say something and I just look at him like so you want me to pay here or go around? He explained oh right yeah uhm so yeah uhm I can take the card here I’ll go back, he then goes around as as he walks away i again hear laughter coming through the back at this point im just exhausted and hand off the coffee I ordered to my passenger the coffee was so full of ice I might as well had ordered a water very dissatisfied at the lack of training. And or care of the customer and would have loved to see a name tag on the employee. Overall highly dissatisfied wouldn’t recommend going here unless you intend to be okay being laughed...
Read moreThe food and service at this location is getting worse and worse I changed to this location because of the food quality and service but I've been having problems the last five times that I've went in there the last time I went in there I ordered a chocolate I got a vanilla shake and I told him this is vanilla not chocolate it's completely white no chocolate at all he handed it to me and said it is chocolate and shut the window I tasted it and it was vanilla I honked the horn for service he turned around and looked at me and walked off there was a girl in the background telling him he needed to go back to the window she didn't come back to the window neither did he but they sent another girl out and I said I ordered a chocolate this is vanilla I would like a chocolate shake she said pull around and I will make you one so she made me a chocolate shake that was actually had chocolate in it but the man that was at the window that made the shake was completely rude and I'm going to be iffy if I ever...
