I'm kind of surprised by the amount of positive reviews, which brought me there. My hopes for tasty Mediterranean food were misplaced.

The pros: the staff is amazingly kind and the portions are huge, which gives value for money

But beyond that it was disappointing- the food was literally microwaved. I got the falafel and found the taste wholly underwhelming. My Egyptian friend got the Shawarma and was equally unimpressed. Ordered the 2 sub special and cheese sticks. 1st the cheese sticks were cold and I'm only 4 blocks away 2nd the subs 1 a steak and cheese the other a Philly were both made exactly the same way which may not have been so bad if they weren't made with steak-um like meat or at least chop them up so they looked like real steak. Ate half of 1 sub looked at the other one and the fries were cold too. Threw 80% of the order in the trash. Spent $26.64 trashed about $21 of it. The can cokes were cold...

We were only people in the place yet food was slow and when we got home realized they messed up our order. This happened even after we checked. Menu wasn't clear on what came with the dish, and staff was rude when we questioned them about the menu. Gyro meat was ok, but I like mine crispy, and this was not. Chicken tasted like fish and was under cooked. Had to throw it out. While I don't have high expectations for late night food, thiscwad just bad. Maybe an off night? I won't go back...
