Pizzarro — Restaurant in Washington

Decided to try this place right next to my airbnb, which made getting food easy on a busy street. Got 2 extra large pepperoni pizzas and 1 extra large Buffalo wing pizza and 6 wings. Ordering was quick and the host was friendly, the price for the pizza was decent, was told 20mins, still wasn't ready got told 7 mons more been here for 30 mins and finally got the pizzas. The pepperoni pizza was nothing special but it was still good, the cheese was cheesy enough but needs a little more sauce to counter the dry crust. The Buffalo wing pizza, was different, not in a bad way just the way where it had chicken with some seasoning I can't put my finger on, it has tomatoes on top? And the sauce is non existing. The wings were baked, moist but the sauce on the side was ehh 🤷🏽‍♂️ again nothing special. Overall great little place on a busy street, price was decent for the pizzas and wings. I stopped into this little neighborhood restaurant for take-out after a long day of travel, and it was wonderful! Everyone working there was so friendly to me, and the menu has a lot of variety. I got the kofta sandwich, and speaking as someone who fancies herself a connoisseur of fine pitas, it was amazing- the meat was flavorful, the vegetables were abundant and fresh, and the hummus... the hummus was a thing of beauty (it's got that nice, earthy sesame flavor that complements everything you could think to put it on). It takes a few minutes for things to come out if you order at the counter, but you can tell it's because they make it fresh. They also have baklava, which you can never go wrong with. Pizzarro is such a neighborhood gem! I swung by for a jumbo pepperoni slice after a late-night stroll and it hit every note—crispy crust, melty cheese, and loads of flavor. The staff was super friendly and easygoing, which made the whole vibe feel welcoming and laid-back.
