I recently went after finding out they had lemon pepper wings. got there at 11 they were bombarded with online orders, and when I looked back there was like six people behind me. Customer service was great they were upfront and said it will be about 20 minutes since they just opened. I wasn’t tripping about that. As long as you’re communicating with me I’m cool. I don’t even think we waited 20 minutes. my plans ended up chnaging so I didn’t get to eat my food for another 90 minutes when I got home I ate and I was surprise how good and crispy those wings were. They were so flavorful you didn’t need the ranch but I’m glad I got me some white rice to go with it. Plenty of meat on those wings for sure and let me just say you can’t complain about what it looks like. They are on Florida Avenue. it is DC. I did not see no rats or roaches or flies if you step out yeah you’ll see all of that but not in that establishment , I do wish they would upgrade because I’m sure they got the money to do that but the chicken wings are worth maneuvering through them BS dc traffic.
Also, if you’ve never seen a box TV, they have one in there for you...
Read moreFirst time trying this place after seeing several positive reviews on social media, and I had to check it out.
The location is on a busy corner, and it’s strictly takeout with space for about 5-6 people to stand comfortably. In my opinion, adding 2-4 tables outside could boost their revenue by giving people a place to sit and eat.
I ordered a 10-piece Honey Lemon Pepper wings, a side of fries, and two drinks, which totaled $30—a bit pricey for one person. However, the wings were fantastic! They had a great crunch, tasted fresh, and the flavor combination was on point. The fries were just okay; they could’ve used a little more seasoning, and probably would’ve been better if I could have eaten them hot. The only downside was the size of the wings—they were larger than I prefer, and I wasn’t given the option to request all flats. 9/10 for the wings.
Overall, I’d rate this place an 8/10. The guy taking my order seemed to be working solo, so customer service was a bit lacking, but it wasn’t terrible. Thank you, KoChix Chicken, for the great wings—I highly recommend and will...

The bowl was literally full of rice, I still swallowed my pride as a food owner and still supported KO CHIX by buying the biggest wings platter and couldn’t have the option of trying all the sauces given I ordered we’ll over 20 wings for a party.. I get the food ask for wings to be extra wet they barely put sauce on them literally no sauce!!! No flavor just crisp wings and drumsticks 🍗 to add that on top of me a EXTRA paying 15 bucks plus takes for a beef bowl full of rice.. no sauce no effect no beed LITERALLY FULL OF RICE AND I HAVE THE PICTURES AND VIDEOS TO SHOW.. if they do not replace my entire meal based off the food and horrible customer service alone from the Spanish guy who I literally told I was from Philadelphia and in the food industry they will go viral and I have the video to match all of what I am saying this was a complete horrible experience especially giving the 89. Dollars I spent was for...
