Kampai Wings & Teriyaki — Restaurant in Washington

Very pathetic my husband went to pick up dinner and grabbed a coke from the fridge and placed it on the counter and my husband paid and left with in 10mins I get a call to my cellphone not once but twice I didn’t answer as I didn’t know the number, well it was this place who had the audacity to leave me a voicemail about a coke the he didn’t charge.

I asked my husband to explain what happened he said he grabbed a coke placed it on the counter as he had not paid for the food and the guy rang him up and he left.

So I called this place back and the guy was like yeah I believe your husband took a coke without paying and he needs to come back to pay for it. I said first off we DO NOT STEAL a $3 coke he said well how was I supposed to know that he grabbed the coke I said because it was on the counter and he had not paid for the food he then said rudely well how am I supposed to know he didn’t bring it from outside so then I said why are you harassing me about a coke if you aren’t sure. He said well he needs to mention it next time and then went to say you can come back tomorrow to pay for it, I said oh no I’ll be back today to pay for it we don’t steal for anyone and then he said well from how you sound just don’t come back.

I was in the area, and a friend recommended I try this spot. The establishment was very clean and nicely put together. The lady who took my order was very patient as I looked through the many options. I settled for the sweet and sour wings(party wings) 10pc and fried rice(extra 2.50), meal was a little under 20$. The chicken did not disappoint. Right amount of crisp, flavor, and freshness. The fried rice was okay but was on the bland side. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and has a hole in the wall but comfortable atmosphere.

I got the crispy fried and honey garlic wings, with steamed rice and a side of gyoza. The gyoza and the dipping sauce were really good, nice and crisp. The white rice was cooked perfectly. Onto the wings, the crispy fried wings were cooked well but lacked seasoning. The honey garlic wings on the other hand were crispy and delicious. I wish they were bigger though. I'll definitely come back to try the rest...
