La Villa Pizzeria — Restaurant in Washington

I ordered a salad, by the managers reccomendation, at 2 pm, on a wednesday afternoon. I was the only customer in the store and there were only 3 active delivery orders. The phone rang only once the entire 25 minutes I was there. 20 minutes after placing my order for a $8.00 daily special chicken ceasar salad, i endured the laughter and horseplay by all 4 staff working in the front. i had no salad, and not even an update. I inqured about my order and was told just a few minutes more by the manager. I asked for a refund at this point because i had to go to an appointment that i was now late for. The manager told me it took that long because they make the chicken fresh --for the daily special. I asked why they are just now putting it on the grill? With no response. Then I asked for a business card, and he told me they didnt have one.

I will be contacting the department of health because i saw many things out of compliance in the 25 minutes i sat there waiting for a salad.

Dont let this place waste your money or your time. Terrible service. Probably hit or miss...

This was really good pizza. Clearly fresh ingredients, and pride and care went into it. I was happy. I ordered through Slice. As a fair warning, I think they use grubhub to deliver, so it took maybe 35 minutes to get to me after I got the Slice notification that it was on its way, but that's not their fault. I'll just go pick up next time.

Edit April 7 2023: I'm still ordering from here and they continue to impress! Tonight especially. My calzone tonight (cheese, garlic sauce, portobellas, caramelized onions, red peppers, and spinach) was absolutely done to perfection. This place is a JOKE!!!! I placed and order through Grubhub at 6:00 pm to be delivered at 8:00 pm. After seven phone calls speaking to various associates and the manager Kadell 3 times, still nothing at 11:05 pm. I was lied to about the order was on the road with the driver, then the drivers car broke down, to another manager is on the road bringing me the food: still NOTHING BUT EXCUSES!!!!

They informed me that the reason is because it’s so busy to complete every order. This is ridiculous and I will never order from this place again. This company gives their potential customers the run around. Never order when they’re busy; you’ll probably still be waiting weeks later. Very poor...
