HOW I LOVED ATTENDING THIS MAGNIFICENT CHURCH AT EASTERTIME! Standing in the balcony as I listened to the words, "Christ is RISEN...HE IS RISEN INDEED," I ALMOST COLLAPSED under the influence of the deliciously intoxicating Orthodox incense wafting up from the holy censors that were swung throughout that beautiful Cathedral. How I loved the lit candles, the strong voices of the faithful reaffirming "HE IS RISEN INDEED" echoing and reverberating throughout her hallowed walls! Grateful to have Orthodox Churches in the DC metropolitan area. I do have a lot of respect for Fr Victor Potopov, Fr Alexander Resnikoff, and all family and friends of this heavenly cathedral. The choir directors are wonderful where every service I have been to is very heavenly. I enjoy the wonderful food market there. I also enjoy seeing the chapel’s with the cathedral.
