Mason's is an old fashioned, pull up style restaurant specializing in grab and go food, ice cream and home made root beer. Upon pulling into the facility you will be greeted by a server at your car who is there to answer any questions you may have or take your order. First timers will want to take a moment to explore the many options this place has to offer.

This restaurant is a very neat experience, especially for children, who did not get to witness this style of business. It's a great way to share stories of the history of American culture when it was at its basic beginnings in the restaurant culture.

The food itself is priced very reasonably considering the inflation of products. It's also actually cheaper than most fast food places around which is spectacular when you consider this food is most likely not filled with a lot of additives and fillers.

Feeding a family of 4 and grabbing a few extra things for supper (remember the pricing) was just under 50 dollars and that included the splurging of some root beer floats and a half gallon of root beer to take home for later consumption.

All in all, this place is not only wonderful for food but it is a great family trip into the past that will fill the car with conversation of stories of yesterday. It is certainly a unique experience that you should not...

First off, the food here is AMAZING! As far as some of the employees not so much. We have been coming to masons for years and normally always have a great experience today however we did not. Ordered our food, our food came out handed her the money she went to get my change everything was going fine. She gave me my change and I said I'm sorry I don't have anything smaller than a 20 for your tip and handed her a few dollars. Yes I understand it wasn't alot, I get it's hard to work in the heat, but what happened when she went to sit back down was the part that was terrible, she said "3 dollars all that for 3 dollars what's wrong with people" to her coworker. As they were shaking their heads. I'm not sure if she knew or cared that my window was still down. As I said I get that it's hard to deal with people all day in the heat of summer, but I could been rude and not tipped at all. We always tip everywhere we go, it's not always alot but servers definitely deserve something. Its just hard to imagine going back after getting criticized for the tip...

Horrible customer service. We ordered a foot long hotdog for our child and they decided on their own to cut it in half..... Our son didn't want his hotdog cut in half so we went back to them and asked if they would remake it but this time not cut in half. The dark haired lady got all upset and said that they cut all the foot longs in half. Then why advertise a footlong if you don't give them one? We asked for it made correctly or a refund and she says. I'll have to see if we can even do that.....how hard is it to not cut the foot long hotdog in half? She comes back with it made correctly this time and rudely asks for the other one back just to Walk away and throw it in the trash can right in front of us. Get better...

I was born down the road from Mason's and went there on a weekly basis for the first 10 years of my life. I had to be in Washington last week for the first time in 26 years and I had to choose between The White Steamer or Mason's. Mason's won the toss this go around and it was an absolute delight. Mason's is proof that if you find something that works and just leave it be, it can keep working forever. No tinkering needed.

This is a newnplace we found on the roadside corner that we saw last week while exploring in Washington. Today, my wife Vickie and I stopped and got a ft. Long Coney and rootbeer, fried pickles and mushrooms. Gave Chub a Cheeseburger plain. It wasna real treat, then we got a PeanutBuster Sunday. Really good. Plan on returning!!
