McDonald's — Restaurant in Washington

Absolutely the worst Mc Donald's ever!! I cannot begin to go over the hit list but just let me tell you a story!! The wife and I went here-like we have in the past-and just wanted to order and enjoy but that was unthinkable!! The staff-I guess you could call him a shift leader-was playing in the parking lot with other employees, the entire kitchen staff ignored me, and when i finally spoke up I got blamed for making a 75 year old woman cry!! All I wanted was to figure out where my order was after waiting over 12 minutes, wondering why off the clock employees were playing in the back and getting their food as opposed to you guessed it the "customers"!! Then, after I finally asked this 75 year old woman why she ignored my for over 5 minutes-yes, stood there at the counter, being polite, until my patience was at an end!! I was firm but not belligerent and believe me this wasn't the first time with this woman-nuff said. Then Mr. Shift leader came out to flex his power-very funny-and tried to kick us out because the place apparently closes at 10 in his mind!! The door said 11 and the time was 10:25. My wife then put him in his place then some dim wit manager girl comes out from the back and tries to make me fill bad for making the woman cry but I stood my ground and explained what you are hearing!! she whimpers and tells me she does not how to refund my money, or can't control the moron of the shift leader!! I told her " your the manager right? Then make a decision and remedy his awful behavior!! We eat up, leave, let the management know-deaf ears-now I'm telling you, beware!! Here's how it really gets good!! About 3 weeks later I stopped to get my wife a 1/4 pounder meal via drive through!! The worst she's ever eaten and ultimately when we removed the bun it looked like they were playing with the patty itself as it looked disintegrated!! Two words people!! NEVER AGAIN!! Annnd this place owes me about 20 bucks for the horrid experience! hold my breath-lol If i wanted this much abuse I'd still be living at my quasi Brother in law's house back in EP!! Thanks for making my experience great Donald's team you are simply the best...

I use to be management here , back then things seemed to run pretty good although the short staffing could make things difficult sometimes. People don’t realize how tuff it can be to run things efficiently and quickly when you have very few people to make it happen. So people should be more patient. On the downside I will say anymore the orders 9/10 times will come out wrong, cold or entirely the wrong order. And my last 5 to 10 visits the ice cream machine was “down” which in my experience means they cleaned it early and don’t wanna serve out of it again so they don’t have to clean it again for close lol. 7 pm is way to early to be doing that. And the young kids these days care a lot less than the last generation of teens it seems. So other then the burn out young kids in there that don’t care there are employees that do care and I have respect for them because it can be a pain trying to guide teen children into doing what they are suppose to all while dealing with irate and sometimes unreasonable customers… customers can also act like children let’s not forget that. Job can be super stressful at times more so then...

Used the new mobile curbside option today. Wow, what a pain! My wife ordered on her phone. Had issues getting the credit card to go thru, although there was absolutely no problem with our card. Finally got it to go thru and went to pick up the order. Tried to check in as I was pulling into the parking lot and it said to wait until i was there. Apparently the parking lot isn't close enough. Finally got checked in and parked in the curbside pickup area and waited easily 10-15 minutes. This was supposed to be quicker and more convenient. The order was finally brought out and they forgot my drinks. Waited another 5 minutes for my drinks. Got the order home and the pies we ordered were not the right ones. The funny thing is that I went to the Washington store because we've had so many problems with the East Peoria store. By time we were done I almost wished I had gone there instead. Very sad statement to have to make. Really not sure how McDonald's continues to thrive with this kind of service. I guess they're big enough that they just really don't care about...
