Sicilian Pizza — Restaurant in Washington

To be completely transparent and fair I didn't actually have any of their products ... Because the on ei desired wasn't available any longer . I am from boston recently moved here and also a fan of Chicago my second love . I loved Boston and Chicago's deep pan Sicilian pizzas ! Moving to D.C. I have hoped to find a nice Sicilian Slice and or pizza and have been on the hunt this whole last year since I moved here . Today on a bike ride I saw a huge red and white sign !!!Sicilian pizza !!! I thought a message from god I am close to a Catholic University ( forgive me God ) Looked through the font window nose pressed on the window door locked looking up I see? Sicilian pizza on the menu . I stave my hunger off for a few hours until I am going to have late lunch .I lookup online and cannot find these pizzas from heaven . I call the store and they inform me that they are no longer making them due to lack of demand .

So disappointed .

We’ve had much better pizza from many other delivery places. The pizza was not very flavorful, the wings were tasteless. Ordered plain and garlic wings, the garlic had a pile of garlic and some parsley laying on top as if it were added after the wings were cooked. Looked like it would be good , but the wing was tasteless. Ordered caramelized onions on one pizza just looked lightly sautéed at best, pizza was tasteless. The other pizza bacon and pepperoni was loaded with bacon removed it, more than half of the pizza went to waste. Wanted to like this place because it’s nearby and a new shop. Please add flavoring, spices, and if you say caramelized, please actually caramelize the onions. We Paid $77 fir 2 pizzas, 20 wings and a small salad. Gave a 20% tip on top of the delivery fee. Not a happy camper. Wings were a good size just no flavor/seasoning. Again didn’t eat half of them . I hope this review encourages...

Short story: I was doing Delivery with UberEats and I went to this store to pick up an order for a customer. I kid you not that pizza smelled so fresh and good that I went back to order myself a small 10’ pizza for myself to try after I was done doing deliveries.

The review: To be honest I did saw it was 4 star average but the pizza was very well done! I had a buffalo chicken pizza with blue cheese on the side. Man I always hated blue cheese but now I have a different opinion on it. This pizza slaps with the blue cheese on it! I’m always been having ranch on wings but it’s good! I’d give it a chance before hating on it! Pizza is well cooked and not burnt tasting like cardboard. The guy that’s there is a skinny gentleman that has an accent but man keep up the good work! I was impressed of how that pizza was made and made me write a review to share the world. Definitely...
