Their green curry is now one of my favorites, the spice level is excellent. The dish would have been perfect if the sauce wasn't so thin like they made it the day before and if they would have left out the red pepper(this flavor over powers everything in a VERY bad way!) When I ordered I asked for NO PEPPERS IN MY FOOD. The pad see ew, didn't have the proper searing on the noodles and lacked sauce. Big ball of dry noodles. Crab Fried rice was great! Except they loaded it with(you guessed it) red peppers! The person who ordered this loved it and so did I, they just put way too many peppers on this dish. It took away from the sweetness of the crab. The chicken satay was juicey and tender! The peanut sauce was great! The mango lemonade was so good!

YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!! Everything we ordered tasted so delicious. I recommend the “pad cee eu with shrimp” as its so flavorful. It was our first time visiting Washington DC and the first restaurant we visited- the employee was very helpful, patient and kind with answering our questions. Tastes authentic. The guy even gave us a little surprise (papaya salad) upon pickup- we’re so grateful! Good prices as well compared to other Thai restaurants we visited in different areas. The large Thai iced tea was DELICIOUS and HUGE for only $5!! One of the yummiest Thai teas!! Cheaper than a small boba. Thank you so much, will come back again before we leave the city!

Stay away. This place has terrible Thai food, it’s more like carry out imitation Thai food. I ordered crispy basil chicken and first it wasn’t crispy it was soggy. I can tell they made the dish with frozen low quality tenders or something. It tasted like they cooked it then froze it and re heated it had the freezer burn taste to it. We need some better Thai food with good service.

I recently ordered through Postmates from this location for delivery. I got the spring rolls, mango sticky rice, and curry puffs.

The spring rolls were really good, they had I think glass noodles along with the veggies inside. They are quite small so they give you 4 of them.

The curry puffs are an item I have gotten from multiple restaurants and theirs were on the small size but they give you 3 instead of the usual 2. They were a bunch more spicy compared to others and it was too spicy for my liking. This is the only time I haven't finished an order of curry puffs due to taste. The cucumber-vinegar sauce also wasn't very good. It wasn't vinegary enough, basically tasted watered down and this is a crucial part of the dish, so I was a bit disappointed.

The mango stick rice was incredibly good! The mango was perfectly fresh and ripe! They give you a decent portion of sticky rice with coconut and such on top. If for no other reason I'll be ordering from them again just to get more of this and to try other dishes!

A suggestion: one thing that would improve my experience and enjoyment is if the store had a sweet plum type sauce that wasn't spicy that was made in the restaurant with good natural ingredients. Many of the prepackaged sauces have ingredients I'm unable to eat due to food allergies. I would pay more, and order more often if I really liked the sauce. One example in the market is Chipotle makes their Polynesian sauce that I buy in the large bottles because it's the only sweet and sour type sauce I can eat and use it for all stores nuggets because they make it themselves without all the artificial ingredients. I also order coconut shrimp from red lobster as opposed to other places because I love their pina colada sauce.... just a thought. There are a lot of us who can't eat the artificial stuff. Msg is another one that commonly is a problem for those with migraine and it would be great if you had a good alternative. I think restaurants underestimate the value of a good sauce...

I originally had high hope for this establishment since I heard such great things however I can not tell a lie. This was not it for me. The portions are great but the flavor leaves a lot to be desired. The fried calamari was horrid. Literally threw it in the trash. The Thia Orchid fried rice special was so so… it’s day three of ordering it and it’s still in the fridge (getting tossed today). Also ordered the chicken Pad see-eww the dog seems to enjoy it so, but the noodles tasted burnt to me and the flavor was very lacking. Perhaps this was just an off day for the cook(s), but for $70 due to ordering via Grub Hub I could have simply driven myself to Virginia to Galae Thia for a fraction of the price and better taste.. maybe in the warmer months I will try again just to see if it was what I ordered and maybe because it was through Grub Hun. I find sometimes that food at the restaurant is better than when delivered so to be...

I can get behind a restaurant that has good reviews and is across the river. That's why my wife surprised me by taking me here on a date night. We are huge fans of Thai food and have exhausted the good Thai options in DC. This place has great ratings so we had to try it out.

I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating, but I promised to always be honest. There is more than enough seating here, but the atmosphere does NOT encourage you to stay. Since it was empty when we went, I assume no one stays to use the tables. When my wife and I walked it, it was not clear how to order. After waiting for a few minutes, the owner came out and was then SUPER helpful. He is really nice!

The food was normal Thai food. Nothing to write home about. I always get green curry and I think the best I've had in DC is Regent Thai in NW or Sanphan Thai on Pennsylvania Ave in...
