Moruss Seafood & Crab House — Restaurant in Washington

Today was my VERY last time at this spending my money here!!!! I place my order for a half dozen of male crabs and a pound of large shrimp that was about 42 dollars and waited in my car, once I thought my order was ready I went back in and look at my receipt for my number and realized I had four 5 cent charges.. So me thinking I was a mistake, I asked the guy who appeared to be a manager “ Excuse me why do I have all of the bag charges?”, the guy replied “ because we’re giving you four bags” I noticed that my food was in three paper bags and 1 plastic bag.. I nicely and politely informed him of Washington DC PLASTIC bag law along with other Dc residents that was in the store “ Dc only charge for PLASTIC bags” .. One of the customers actually pulled it up on their phone and he refused to look and got upset and begin to yell.. He yelled saying that he was going to refund me the cost of my food, and that he did.. At that point is when The other customers and myself decided that We’ll never go back there again.. It wasn’t a money issue, it was a customer service issues at that point.. No telling what Else they’re over charging people for.. IN FACT FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS ARE NO SUPPOSED TO CHARGE FOR...

I placed an order to go via phone. I was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 13 minutes later. I walked in and was not surprised by the plexiglass considering the location. The clerk was on her phone and did not look up when I approached the counter. I had to speak to her first to get her attention. She looked at me and said, “Watchu ordering”. I told her I placed a phone order for garlic crabs. I paid and she yelled into the back, “153 here”. I walked over to the section of the counter that said “Pick your food up from here”. I waited an additional ten minutes before the clerk comes out and says, “You still here”. I didn’t respond to her comment. I handed her my receipt when she asked for it. She yells, “Ay! 135 here”, hands me my receipt and leaves the shop. Yup, she mixed up the numbers. I get my order and warmed it up when I got home. The order was for a Dozen garlic crabs. It was absolutely disgusting. It was basically melted butter and a bunch of seasonings especially old bay. No garlic flavor or pieces of garlic at all. The crabs were extremely small and I spent a LOT of time trying to find the meat. Worse $50+ spent. Do...

Moruss Seafood got me but it won't happen again. You get one star for giving me what I ordered and another star for trying. You completely failed but I "think" you tried. The shrimp and crab legs don't look like the picture at all. If you're hoping for 3 pieces of catfish (cuz that's what the menu says), you will not get it. You will; however, get 3 half pieces of fish. The cabbage is decent and the green beans taste like they opened a can and dumped in on the plate. No type of seasoning; not even salt and pepper. The potato salad's consistency is one step above mashed potatoes; don't do it. They did not give me napkins and I hate when you pay a lot for your food and the restaurant can't even give you decent forks. The catfish and the chicken dinners came in that cheap paper container and guess what? If you have any food that has liquid (e.g. cabbage, green beans, collards), it will soak through the container. Bottom line: If you're thinking about getting food from here.....don't! Just...
