The Little Town Diner — Restaurant in Washington

I've been here 3x since it was the royal diner. Kids food is a little over priced. Especially just plain noodles with butter.. doesn't even come with a dessert like most diners include wirh kids meals. 10-12 for noodles and no small cup of ice cream is wild. Also no sides in kids meal. Caesear wrap was decent the dressing seems watered down and chicken was a little weird. There was also tomatoes in it who puts tomatoes in those wraps. No cheese either who doesn't out cheese in those wraps. Add tomatoes but no parm cheese. My kids liked the French fries. Also told me I couldn't substitute penne for long noodles. I will say I was very impressed with the burger I got. It was cooked perfect and it wad super good. I can't recall what burger I had but it had onion ring and this sauce. The sauce was amazing. Visited this little gem for the first time and had a great experience.

We got the corned beef hash eggs Benedict: English muffin, corned beef, poached egg, Hollandaise sauce on top, generous portion of home fries on the side.

The eggs were cooked perfectly, and everything was completely delicious. Even the potatoes were seasoned well, which is a rarity for a diner breakfast.

Then there was the Loaded Breakfast Skillet, which was exactly as advertised. Chorizo, potatoes, corn, beans, avocado, and two beautifully sunny-side up eggs. Flavor was out of this world, with the smoky chorizo infusing the whole dish.

The ambiance is old school, charming, and cozy. Prices are reasonable, especially for the generous portions and food quality.

To top it off, our server, Jasmine, was a complete delight.

Nothing special that set this place apart from any other diner. Ordered eggs Benedict, was completely underwhelmed. Egg was completely cooked (not how a poached egg is suppose to be). Ordered a side of corn beef hash, which had peppers and onions in it. That’s a first, and wasn’t good. Sent it back. In the spirit of respecting that it is their first week or two I guess That would be the excuse for how horrible the service was. Couldn’t find your waitress to save your life. Wish this new diner much success. Try taking some constructive criticism and do something a little different make the food a little better, stand out.
