If I could give zero I would. I have been a big Wingstop lover for over five years. I have never experienced such a horrible customer service experience at any other restaurant in my life. I ordered a big Wingstop delivery for a party through their app. Then I got a text message that the delivery was being handled through DoorDash, even though I did not order through DoorDash.
š© this was the first issue. When Wingstop passes a delivery off to DoorDash, you can no longer track the delivery through the Wingstop app.
AND because I did not order through the DoorDash app, I also cannot track the delivery through the DoorDash app. All you receive is text message updates.
I receive a text that the order is close to being delivered so I head downstairs in front of my apartment. I wait. I see no one arrive. I get a text message saying the order is delivered. But I have no food. I immediately check if thereās someone I can contact. The text message has a phone number of the DoorDash driver. I call them, they sound drunk and are like āhuh, i delivered the foodā and Iām trying to ask where it is and he hangs up on me. Iām like wtf!? so I call back and initially the driver is declining my phone calls. He only picks up every few calls then he tells me actually heās not the one who delivered my order and that his friend is using his DoorDash account to do deliveries so he needs to call his friend to see where heās at. š©
Freaking ridiculous. I give him a minute or two. I tried calling back and heās declining my calls again then eventually answers and then heās like āIDK where the food is stop calling meā.
So Iām pissed. I have several guests waiting for me upstairs and no food.
So obviously, the DoorDash driver is at fault for giving his account to some random person. But it gets worse.
I call this Wingstop to let them know that I havenāt received my order and they tell me thereās nothing they can do. š©They have no ability to track or contact the delivery driver; none whatsoever. Which is a crazy way to operate a business. Can you imagine if Amazon subcontracted to delivery workers and provided no traceability for your packages?!! That wouldnāt stand.
The Wingstop employee and manager are unhelpful and unapologetic and tell me that they have no ability to issue a refund and that I have to contact DoorDash since DoorDash handled the delivery. Iām like that makes no sense since I did not place an order through DoorDash. š© as a customer, I shouldnāt be dealing with another company that I did not do business with.
Well working with DoorDash is a headache too because when you donāt place an order through them, š©thereās no documentation of that order inside of their app, so you canāt just push the Help button to get help with your order because there isnāt one!
So I have to Google to find a random customer service line and wait on hold to get in touch with somebody. They find some documentation of my order and theyāre like OK, We are sending a request back to Wingstop and they will handle your refund. š©š©š© Iām like wth kind of process is this? Wingstop told me to call DoorDash just so DoorDash can tell me to call Wingstop again???!
I call Wingstop. They say OK they will issue a refund. And hang up. Itās been a week, and I havenāt received a refund or any phone call or email indicating that a refund has been issued. And when I try to call the restaurant now, I get a beep beep beep sound as if the phone line is disconnected which is crazy and makes me think that they like blocked my phone number or some nonsense. Maybe the phone line is actually just disconnected? But the issue now is I have no way of working with any official Wingstop people to resolve this. š©š©š© On the Wingstop website, it only lets you leave feedback there is no phone number to work with customer service.
I think several people need to be fired and Wingstop needs to stop this horrible business operation model. There are entire Reddit threads of people who have experienced the same thing as me and have no way of...

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE, the customer service was awful I never had so many bad experiences in one place before first of all the workers are not professional at all you can hear them all just watching TikTok literally in front of everyone with the volume at full blast and the videos they were watching were saying some inappropriate stuff and I went with my little sister which makes it NOT kid friendly. I also witnessed the staff flirting with the customers and you can tell that she was very uncomfortable. When we finally did receive the food it was just awful and the portions were so small and one worker started literally yelling on the phone with a customer just because she couldnāt hear her thereās no need to yell in my opinion. And donāt even get me started on Devin he was the worst⦠he asked how our food was and I was honest and he apologized and offered free wings from how terrible our food was and even after declining he kept insisting so i wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.. so me and my sister waited for an extra 20 minutes only for him to act like nothing happened and was asking if we needed anything and to come back so like you made me waste more of my time for no reason and I just ended up looking dumb waiting for no nothing. I had to ask someone to check to see if the order I placed online was ready. Of course my food is sitting getting cold because they were āwaiting for friesā the person in the kitchen was working not only with no gloves but his love were well past his shoulders down his back and theyāre dangling over everything he was doing. I literally stood in the lobby for 14 minutes waiting on my order when I placed it online and it said 16-21 minutes. On top of all that I had to ask for my food again only to be told they were waiting for fried corn. So I advised the long hair man that I didnāt order corn. So again my food was just sitting there getting cold. One I did receive it he starts to walk away and I had to call him back to get my drink cup. NEVER AGAIN!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would.
