Zeke’s Coffee, Rhode Island Ave., NE, DC Zeke’s Coffee is an absolute gem in the neighborhood! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service is impressively fast, so you never have to wait long for your caffeine fix. The coffee is made to order and bursting with flavor—each sip reminds you why you love coffee in the first place. The staff here are not just friendly, but genuinely engaging. They take the time to chat and make you feel like part of the family, enhancing the overall experience. If you’re in search of great coffee or any other freshly brewed drinks, look no further! This location has a unique, relaxing vibe that sets it apart. I can’t wait to check out their downtown location soon, for now, I’ll be returning to this cozy spot that I adore. Highly recommend!

Can’t ask for a better local roaster and coffee shop! Warm and welcoming staff, great bean selection, and the pastry + breakfast sandwich options are second to none. Whether we’re walking here on a weekend as a family, popping in for a breakfast burrito and coffee on a weekday morning before work, or in need of an afternoon caffeine buzz - it’s part of our regular routine. The breakfast burrito is hands down one of my favorite bites in the city. Get it warmed up and with hot sauce! In the 6 years of living nearby, I’ve yet to find a reason to go elsewhere. Folks from all facets of life visit here every morning, and from commuters to neighbors - you’re bound to see a smiling face. There are seasonal decorations to go with their great selection of rotating seasonal coffee drinks. We’re really looking forward to the expansion as well!

I was driving out of DC and found this coffee shop. My first impression when I walked in was positive. It looked like a great place to study or do some work. However, after ordering it was clear that new customers come second. There was great urgency for the regulars. I found that even my interactions with the staff were inferior to theirs. Regulars who came in after us were served before us. I was snapped at when I went to grab one of the prepared drinks. The staff promptly exclaimed “ That’s his!” To follow this… my drink was taken by a regular and the staff lacked to say anything and continued to prepare his drink before ours. This made it very clear that Regulars are the main focus. Instead of working to bring more customers in and turn them...
