Starbucks — Restaurant in Wasilla

Updated 2022- I still love this location, I have been a regular customer for years and I like when I walk inside I am greeted by name. I always order ahead on the app when I come here and Its so easy and simple. I always have a custom order no matter which drink I order and they know how I like it. Once in awhile I will have someone new- in training is the only time i have ever had my drink messed up, but they have their ‘If you don’t Like it, well remake it’ policy which I used to hate to do but over the yrs It doesn’t bother me like it used to. But I wish the app would let me know when the in-store pick up option is closed. Because when I order ahead of time I plan it so that I get there right when the drinks done or almost, and then I find out you can’t go inside to pick up your order you have to go to the drive-through and there’s a long line now that means my drink is already made and it’s sitting there waiting for me to come get it and if I had to go in the drive-through I wouldn’t of ordered ahead I would’ve just went to the drive-through that’s the one negative part of coming here.

2020- I drink Starbucks every single day and often twice a day I love coming to the Starbucks there fast they’re accurate. The workers are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. They have free Wi-Fi and a lot of seating. I like to do the mobile orders. I order ahead of time most of the time and it’s always ready waiting. I’ve been a gold member at Starbucks for the last 2+ years and I’ll continue to come back over and over again.

I just left the drive-thru I asked the grand woman to pls run my card before I took the drink as I had nowhere to put the drink and already had all my credit cards from my pocket in my hands and needed to put them back inside my pocket first after she ran my card. The Grand woman said NO! This is the way we do it, take your drink! " i put my cards down and took my drink, which was leaking down the side of the cup btw, and put it on my dash the wind blowing 80 mph almost blew it over so I swiped the card quickly..they didn't tell me before when ordered or at the window how much before swiping, she then tells me after yes my 8 oz cup of steamed heavy whipping cream with 2 shots cinnamon powder and partanna olive oil pump is $7.43! Have a nice day! I said I've never paid $7.43 for an 8 oz cup. It's usually $4.25 for half and $6.25 for a full 8 oz cup. This specific location consistently gives me the wrong drink order and the service is one of the absolute worst. I’m not a super picky person but today was sort of the last straw for this place. I waited a long time in the drive through with only a couple cars ahead of me at the window. When I finally got up to the window I had to wait for the worker to finish her conversation before she opened the window, long enough to the point I felt like I needed to put my truck in park seeing as I was apparently going to be there for awhile. Then on top of it, the snarky remark after I hit “no tip” on the pad. That’s correct hunny, no tip for you. Why would I tip? What exactly am I tipping? On top of it, my drink order was yet again wrong and the ‘warmed’ danish I ordered was cold by the time I got it. I’ve given this place enough chances. I hope other people have better experiences.
