I worked at this location for over 6 years, I also have worked at the McDonald's and Burger King in Wasilla, and have had friends that worked at Wendy's and KFC....I guarantee you will not find a cleaner kitchen, lobby, bathroom, etc at any other fast food restaurant in the Valley. One of the reasons I loved working at Taco Bell was the high standards they hold every one of their stores to across the entire nation, even when it comes to speed. Did you know that Taco Bell corporate has speed standards that every store must meet on average for drive thru... well they do...45 seconds at the order menu, 15 seconds at the first window, 60 seconds at the second (if they have two that is)...with a total time from when the car pulls up to the first sensor to when it pulls away from the final window of only 2:30!!! Think about that the next time you go there, pull up, don't know what you want to order, then are counting out change at the second window or decide to change your order or add to it, then aren't ready to receive your drinks and food at the last window or decide to start eating your food while still parked there....or decide to go thru the drive thru to order your $30+, when you should be going inside. Drive thru was made for people with quick orders, in a hurry....not lazy, overly obese, or cars filled with 8 people that should have gotten out of their cars and walked inside. If you ever feel rushed by the employees when your in the Drive Thru at Taco Bell, it's because you are being rushed, and you should start going inside if you...
Read moreI ordered for pickup beforehand. My lunch was at 6:30 (night shift lunch so dinner time I guess you could say) so I ordered right around that time. Got there shortly before 7:00. As soon as I walked in they told me it would be a 45 minute wait. That's not going to work because my lunch is over at 7:30. So I waited hoping that maybe they would get my order out just right before I have to go. Long story short, I never got my food and I ended up starving. Never was able to eat on my lunch and since I ordered for pickup on DoorDash they would not refund me either. Literally the worst experience I've ever had in my life. They had me in tears. I'm still super distraught about it. The Taco Bell in Wasilla is so slow. I don't know why or how but they need to figure it out because I am never going back there again. I would rather drive to the Palmer Taco Bell where I can get my food in a timely manner. Before my lunch is over so I can actually eat. I will never be going back to the Taco Bell in Wasilla again in my life. That is why I ordered beforehand so that my order would be ready on my lunch hour. They failed to do that and I left with an empty stomach. Moral of the story is don't trust Taco Bell when they are busy because you will for sure be waiting there for over an hour. And if you cannot wait for over an hour for your food because your lunch is over, you won't get a...
Read moreI hardly ever go to taco bell... wanted to take my daughter there for a quick meal. After I ordered, a man sitting at a table said, "You need to tell them how long the wait is!" The guy behind the counter said there are 13 orders in front of you when he gave me my food. Shocked. Turns out some of the people in the lobby had been there for an hour.
I ended up waiting 45 minutes from when I submitted my order to when I got my food. Staff was still cordial even though people were angry and 3 different parties left... Seemed to be plenty of people prepping and such. Not sure how it can take so long to make 3 tacos and 2 orders of nachos. I was patient, and felt bad for those in a hurry. Because they locked the lobby doors from the outside, the drive thru line ended up out of the parking lot by the time I left with my food. There's got to be a better way.
As far as food goes, seemed a little different than I remember. Maybe its just me. Had staff not been cordial i would have rated service at 1, but them maintaining their cool earned them another star. Not sure if it was an off day or normal, but I'm not willing to find out again, unless it's...
