I was very disappointed when Hacienda Mexican restaurant Wasilla location would not make a very small exception for a special needs handicapped women I take care of in her home. This woman happens to be dying from cancer and is bedridden. She barely eats anything but requested some Mexican food today and I told her I had a coupon for Hacienda Mexican restaurant. She was happy to hear that because she has a small budget to work with. When I called to place the pick up order and said I had a coupon I was told coupons were only good when dining in the restaurant. I explained that was not possible as my client is bedridden and I asked them if they could make an exception. I spoke with the manager her name was Amanda. She told me no she would not make an exception. I could see that maybe she didn’t believe my story so I offered to show her proof of my clients condition and she still refused to honor the coupon unless we dined in the restaurant. Honestly I don’t know what difference it makes where we eat the food we are still paying the same price not asking for a free meal just that we be allowed to pick up the food so I could take it to my client and feed it to her in her bed. The manager Amanda told me she would not do it because if they made an exception for me than they would have to make an exception for everyone. I said not everyone has an extraordinary medical condition leaving them bedridden and confined to their home. Manager Amanda said we could still place the pick up order but she would not honor the coupon for us. I said no thank you we will spend our money somewhere else. So that is what we did we ordered from another local Mexican restaurant and we hope others will do this as well. As it seems Hacienda Mexican restaurant in Wasilla is just thinking about money and not the needs of their customers who keep their...
Read moreAs I said down to eat the atmosphere, it was great. The waitress took my order. She kept on getting things confused I wanted a piña colada virgin. After the third time of her, asking me, what kind of vodka I wanted I said no alcohol
I ordered the chicken and beef fajitas With extra tortillas Queso, cheese dip, and jalapeño cream cheese Are the fajitas were chard and burnt I mentioned this to My waitress She said we have a new cook in there I said it’s still chard and burnt no flavor She said you’re gonna have to excuse our New cook. I barely got one fajita down I sat there for 30 minutes. No replacement of my burnt food. She then came over and placed my ticket on the table she asked can I get you anything else? I would have assumed because the food was burnt I would get a replacement plate well that did not happen I asked for a to go box for just the queso and chips She brought me out a cup to go I sent the full plate back to the kitchen With all the extra tortillas I figured she would wonder why there was so much food left over And also I took was the queso As I am at the counter paying for my dinner She’s then replied again I am so sorry we have a new cook My bill was $56.84 And the only thing I enjoyed what is a piña colada and queso dip When I left, I went to Carl’s junior And got a burger I guess when you tell them that their food is bad there is no replacement, and they expect you to eat it and have compassion for a new cook At the tune of customers expense I wrote on the receipt and circled my fajitas and I said not happy and left Because I was not getting a...
Read moreWe came in today to have a wonderful meal. Instead we got ripped off. I normally love this restaurant, Ive never complained before, not even when I found a chicken bone in one of my tacos. However tonight was unacceptable. I came in with a party of six, ordered an appetizer plate of large nachos and expected to get a LARGE plate of nachos. what I got was 12 chips (and yes we counted) covered in a barely melted cheese. When the manager came to our table the only thing she said " You already ate half the plate" (we had eaten five, yes FIVE chips almost one each) , which proves my point even more. There was nothing large about those nachos. the only consolation was that they didn't charge us after we complained. I will not plan on going back to Haciendas any time soon, and if you plan on going I suggest going somewhere like the Loose Moose Cafe. all in all a very...
