We have gone through the drive through many, many times for frozen margaritas and have never had an issue until recently. We have tried many flavors - some better than others - but even the ones that weren't our favorites, were drinkable. We just noted to ourselves that we didn't especially like that flavor and didn't order it again. Recently, my husband went through and ordered the Oscar the Grouch variety. He brought it home and it was absolutely terrible. We both tried one sip and bottled it back up. It wasn't drinkable. I immediately went back to the location to see if we could exchange it for something we could actually drink. I had the entire 1/2 gallon with me. Clearly, I wasn't going to drink it and wasn't looking for a freebie. We just didn't want to completely throw away our money. The girl said they don't do exchanges. I asked if I could speak to the owner. She had me pull forward and I waited out front for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come out and address the issue. No one ever came. This was a frequent stop for us, especially during the summer but we won't be back after this incident. A little customer service would have...
Read moreMy husband and I were looking for a local margarita/daiquiri spot close to us this evening. The first place was Margarita Hut-NRH. The 2nd was this establishment. It is a large establishment with plenty of parking. I walked in expecting that the inside would match the ambience on the outside. I was disappointed! They only have 6 drinks to choose from. There’s no menu to detail what’s in the drinks. The cashier lacked enthusiasm and was very dry. The other major issue I noticed was guest inside the location with young children. There’s a play area on the inside for them to play. I understand providing an areas for kids however not in an establishment that sells alcohol. This could have easily been a felony being committed if the adults decided to drink and drive with children under the age of 15.
The establishment is actually a big warehouse, empty on the inside and lack welcoming decor. We decided to go to another daiquiri place...
Read moreWith three young kids, Mr. Froze has become one of our favorite weekend spots. When it’s too hot or too cold outside, this is the perfect place for them to run around and burn off energy. They always have a blast, and we love being able to sit at the patio chairs and play little games like duck, duck, goose or red light, green light on the turf together.
The vibe is super relaxed and family-friendly. I do wish they had a food menu 🥲, but they offer snacks, and we usually grab a meal on the way, then head here so the kids can play. Honestly, I hope they never close, this has quickly become one of our kiddos’ favorite places, and it’s such a great...
