I supported Sonic in WaterValley, Ms. for a many years, but the recents experience I had with them lately this Sonic have lost my business. My first experience is that when they reopened from remodeling, I ordered some chili cheese fries and I bit down on a screw and talked to the manager that were managering that night and he acted like he wasn't concerned. I tried to get hold to the owner left messages for them to call me and never got a respond from this one to that one. I got out my feelings about that and tried them again, but my recently experience that I had this month Jan. 2016, I purchased food there on this day and ate it there and when I finished eating and got ready to go my car wouldn't crank. I had my hood up, so I decided to knocked on Sonic door and ask did anybody have jumpers cables, one of the white sweet young females didn't hesitate to say she did, so since she were parked in the hole next to me I asked her could she give me a jump off and she replied, "yes if my boss let me." So I waited, and waited it were extra cold out there because I were parked under a shaded area. So I decided to ask her again if she were going to jump me off. She replied, "my boss will not let me." I thought that were a cold hearted, low down boss. I don't know what were his reason why, but I leave that little fellow in God hands. I rest assure you today some where in his lifetime he will pay for his actions on that day. He didn't even come outside to ask me did I need help, and even if the young lady were busy he could of stepped in and took her place for that little moment. I had to call my son 13 miles to come and jump me off and all he had to do were hooked his cables to his battery and mines and my car crunked right on up. Read moreI'm changing my rating of Sonic in Water Valley, Mississippi from a 3 to a 4. I was there yesterday and it took longer than usual for a response after I hit the order button. I was in no rush and did not complain. I'm assuming it was a female manager who came over the speaker and apologized for the wait and took my order and again apologized and assured me that my order would be expedited. My order, which was only 4 large cups of ice, (I LOVE their ice!!) was out to me in UNDER 2 minutes!!! The server tells me there is NO charge because of my wait time when placing my order. I thanked her and gave her the tip that she deserved as my server who rushed my order to me. SKIP THIS NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU KNOW HOW, WHEN, and WHAT % TO TIP AND ONLY WANT TO READ MY REVIEW People IF you get a discount or free meals, etc. at a restaurant or fast food place, PLEASE remember to tip your server based on the original cost of the food. Most if not all waiters and waitresses are paid far less than minimum wage and depend on tips. And IF you can not afford to tip then take your butt to a drive thru restaurant or save your money until you can afford a descent tip. After all, I do not imagine that you would work for free OR less than minimum wage!! Right!!??? Read moreNasty/bland food/cold overcooked fries/tots. Burgers leave a horrible taste in the back of the throat as though the grill is not properly being properly cleaned. Have ate at this sonic a few times since being here in Water Valley at different times giving every opportunity if this is a consistent or (not) the way the food is prepared. It has been consistently bad. Horrible as usual. I have stopped eating at two other known (names withheld) places because of consistently bad food service all together, and this sonic rakes second on the list as consistently horrible food service. I have no problem not eating at this sonic again. I refuse to eat at this sonic again, and yes I spread the word to others to not service this sonic as I have with the other two places. Something needs to be done to stop these food services for the bad service they produce. This is not good service when the food taste as though it is cooked in old grease that is not being regularly changed along with wilted toppings-such as lettuce-etc…: back in the days long ago, the food was properly cooked. All of that is lost, and these services need to be called out now for the “ I don’t care about the food I serve to the customers” attitudes are done away with. Those that serve and prepare need to learn to be proud of what they serve first, and not whine about the money they think they deserve, because no amount of money will prevent them from continuing to serve the horrible trash they prepare.
