Arby's — Restaurant in Waterbury

Arby's let us do a fundraiser last night, they were wonderful. We were collection for Our Neighborhood Flag Fund, and also for Our Neighborhood children's food bank. So many local families with children need help, to put food on the table for them. Last Spring we started having fund raisers to place flags on the telephone poles, we are in the South End of Waterbury. Monthly meetings keep us informed about what is going on in our community, our Policewoman Tiffany Healy attends our meetings, she is off duty but is always there, to give us a Neighborhood up date. We call it on and beyond the call of her duties. We have a few more fundraisers before our meetings end in December. Arby's was a great help to our raising money for the children's food bank and for more flags for our community, to show we care about where we live, and that the children get fed. I went to arby's for the first time in like a decade last month. I had such a great experience I did the survey. But no where in there did they give me the opportunity to talk about justin the kid at the drive thru on the waterbury location...... if more fast food workers were like justin I swear I'd go more. Most of the time you get some young snot who hates there job, screws up your order, gets mad at you for telling them, and never gives extra sauce. Well we went at like 1030 at night when my husband gets out of work, when most ppl can't wait to go home. This kid immediately treated us like we were his first customer. Up beat friendly. Patient, made suggestions. Laughed. He was wonderful. We told him we wished all drive thrus were like him. And we've been back a couple times since. I went from no arby's since I was a kid. To actually wanting to go once a week. Bc the food was prepared well and the service was great. Haven't had one screwed up order. And arby's can thank justin the night drive thru at there...

So let me start by saying I only have gone here in the past to get curly fries. I'm not too much of a deli meat eater. I don't really eat deli sandwiches too often and that's what I thought Arby’s was. To my surprise, they are more than a fast food restaurant that sells deli sandwiches. I have recently tried their crispy fish sandwich. Omg, can I tell you it is delicious? Let's start with the bread. The bread is soft and adds flavor to the fish sandwich. The add shredded lettuce with I didn't think I would like, I love it. The cod itself is flaky and full of flavor. The tartar sauce they use is fresh and not too overpowering. It adds flavor without taking away from the sandwich itself. The price of 2/$5 is also great. Hands down the best fast food fish sandwich I've had since Wendy's.
