I placed an order with the intention to dine in. Instead the cashier placed my order to go but I was unaware of this. While waiting for my order I saw a bowl corn chowder soup. I asked if it was mine? I was told yes. As I walked away I noticed there was bread on the plate instead of chips. I went back to the counter and was given chips and proceeded to walk away again while realizing I ordered a croissant sandwich that was not on the plate. I asked about my sandwich and a sandwhich was placed on the counter for me to take. I look at it and touched it and said ok. I thought i ordered a criossant sandwich. Then I was told I was given the wrong food. And the staff took the food from me and threw it in the garbage while i was standing there. It's a sin to throw food away when it could've been given to someone. However, this whole experience was cruel. I felt as if I the customer had asked for free food. All I wanted was what I had ordered and I asked before I touched anything on the counter. This whole experience went bad from the onset of taking my order and not listening to what I wanted. The server kept looking over at the cashier as if she knew he had been screwing up the orders. The server proceeded to make the foods items I paid for and bagged them up knowing i intened to dine in. Today I took the pastries back to exchange them to what I had ask for and speak with the manager. She was polite by saying, "I understand your point" but that's all she said. She did not offer any solutions to ensure this behavior doesn't continue. Frankly, I will not be revisiting Paner Bread anytime soon. Bad customer service doesn't get my money.

The Cheese Flatbread Pizza: I've had better frozen, and for far less than $10.79 w/"extra cheese". And the Green Goddess Caprese Melt? Where were the peppadew peppers? For $10.79, a little cheese, severely wilted arugula, a little dressing and a couple of slices of tomato. At least the bread was fresh? I know times have changed, but why would anyone spend their hard earned money on food this bad?
2021: We ordered from Panera Waterbury tonight for the first time in years through Door Dash. Years ago, the food was good except for that last experience (pretty sure it was in 2011, so 10 years off due to spoiled food). Tonight was nothing short of disgusting.
We ordered 2 whole salads (which are very small for the price): a $13.49 Cobb Salad, which was just okay but very warm and wilted (order was placed and received within ½ hour, so not Door Dash's fault), and an $8.89 Greek Salad. The Greek Salad was supposed to come with feta cheese, lettuce, red onion, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, and grape tomatoes: standard Greek. What we got was wilted lettuce, croutons, fatty turkey, and pineapple! There isn't even a salad like this on the menu!! SO GROSS!! AND each salad came with a piece of a baguette that was so ridiculously stale that they're inedible.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PANERA LOCATION!! I called the store, and got the standard recording, "if you ordered from Door Dash, call Door Dash". So I learned an expensive, $32.00 lesson tonight, and will never, ever go back...

I arrive at 8:40pm and all curbside spots are being used by customers going inside to order, so I chose the option that I was not parked in a spot; which is cool since I left a vehicle description and had my emergency lights on as asked. About 3 minutes later spot 3 opens up and I park there for more convenience for whomever is coming outside. At 8:54pm I notice that no one is coming to bring the curbside order out as those going inside to order are coming out quickly. I go inside to inquire about my order being curbside ready for 8:43p and that it was 8:59p when I entered. Not sure if my order was ever put together since Edwin asked an employee to "make it over".
