I went there on 09/09/2016 for the first time with my two teen daughters and my two year old toddler. As soon as I walked in I noticed a girl with a dour disposition so I patiently waited to be seated. I asked her for a table away from other patrons as I have a two year old child and I don't want to disturb anyone. She said "sure" the first thing she did was try and seat a party of four in a tiny crowded corner between three different couples. I politely said "excuse me can we sit over in that other side, away from people?" she reluctantly agrees and turns around and rolls her eyes at my server. Well my toddler was quiet and well behaved as always and thankfully no one's meal was ruined. My server was really nice but the same cannot be said for the young woman that seated us. The food came out quickly but there was a lot of people (servers) standing around and staring which made our meal uncomfortable . The food was ok but nothing special, I could have cooked better at home. We found it was a little bland but nothing a little salt and a bunch of sauce won't fix. My daughter wanted to try out this place for her birthday but next time we will go to the Olive Garden instead. Despite everything we remained optimistic and tried to make the best of it. We ate, chatted, enjoyed our time and the bill was a bit pricy for the quality, 43.49 + 15.00 tip. But since I was in a good mood and it was my daughter's birthday it didn't matter. It bothered me a bit at first when my simple request to the girl seating us turned into a roll eyes but I won't loose sleep over it. My server was awesome and accommodating to us. I don't know if I will be returning to this location anytime soon since I wasn't really impressed with the food. I didn't even bother to address my experience with the manager as he looks very unfriendly and like he...
Read moreThe food was good. I wish the service was better. Our waitress was terrible. We ordered 2 kids waters,1 water for an adult and a Sprite for an adult... She didn't write down anything, walked away and came back mere seconds later asking what we wanted to drink again. After telling her again she went and grabbed our drinks and came back with water for the kids in glasses instead of plastic. This meant we had to keep them on the table beside us. We finally put our order in (again she writes down NOTHING), we wait forever for our food to come out.. She brings just the kids and mine, she tells us she'll bring me a refill of water and all of us silverware and then she disappears. My husband waited nearly 10 minutes for his food... During that time I have no water and we still don't have silverware.
On the other side of the restaurant the waitress was on her personal cell phone having a discussion on Spanish with someone talking about how her son isn't going to live with her ex's white girlfriend. Real appropriate given that she's at work... Oh and her ONLY table is waiting for their final plate of food, water refill AND SILVERWARE STILL!. I had to get up and walk over to her.. Interrupt her phone call in order to ask for everything. She bright everything over except my husbands food...that still took an additional 5 minutes. Go out to dinner as a family and everyone is nearly done before my husbands finally gets there... His food came out at the end as the check was brought minutes after his food was delivered.
If this woman spent half as much time taking care of her customers as she does on the phone... Things would have been way better.
Please train the...
Read moreDropped the rating down 3 stars, considered only giving 1 star but the couple of visits prior were pleasant... do breakfast. I decided to give dinner a try and for a busy Friday dinner hour it was surprisingly empty.. I soon found out why. My fiance and I both got toppings we asked to not have (luckily it wasn't because of allergies). The burger I ordered specifically mentioned their "signature sauce" and came with none (which attracted that choice for me). When I asked about it, the waitress said the cook had to make some, which apparently meant the first time, they simply didn't want to make it and banked on me not noticing. Given the lack of dedication, the food did taste pretty good. I would've like to eat with the utensils, but I was able to rub some mystery substance off of them so I ended up eating with my hands (burger and fries so no big deal, but still very off-putting). Lastly, the drink I chose was was the carafe of coffee, it's advertised as unlimited but my table had no sugar and I was never asked about a refill. I don't think I would've took one anyways but I was expecting an ask. I paid, tipped fully and didn't bother complaining but left with a sense of disappointment and understanding of why on a busy Friday it was so empty. I'd consider IHOP again but not sure if it'd be at this location. One of my worst dining experiences in quite a while and close to the record for ever (but at least the flavor was good and I didn't get sick) one of the biggest differences in impressions between visits too (from 5 stars to 2). There are just too many tasty and enjoyable dining options out there to...
