It's bad when I'm the person that will eat pretty much anything, can't eat something because of how disgusting it tastes. We stopped at the McDonald's on the Laporte road so we could have a lunch date. The lady at the window handed us 2 straws and only one of our drinks, then when Ben is autistic and very nicely asked her for my drink and she got rude and snapped at him and then told us to pull forward so they could make my drink. We waited 20+ minutes for them to not bring the drink out so we left. Before leaving they also had the person behind us pull into a spot and then they gave him the complete wrong order because he even asked us if that was what we ordered and we said no we were just waiting on my drink and that we were waiting for 20 minutes. Once we got home we tried to eat the food even though it was cold. The nuggets tasted so bad and you could tell they had refried them and because we have both worked at one in the past. Ben worked at 4 different locations as a General Manager in 3 different states, and he's never experienced this kind of negativity until he started going to this location. We could tell that the oil they used was old. Not only that there was a BITE TAKEN OUT OF ONE OF THE NUGGETS LIKE WTH!! My burger was so nasty and hard I had to take it apart and just eat part of the meat. And then the fries were the nastiest fries and burnt old oil that I barley ate any of them and now I have a nasty taste and film on my tongue that I can't get off. And then the one drink we did get they put way to much sweetener in it that it didn't taste like coffee at all. So I called the store to tell them about this experience and the person that answered was completely rude and refused to do anything about it and refused to give me his name. Worst experience at a McDonald's in my life and I grew up in bad parts of Ohio, Hell Ben is from BALTIMORE and hasn't ever had this much of a bad experience. This one needs...
Read moreGreat employees, food that's always served at the right temperature and never tastes old or dried out, and a clean dining area as well as a clean women's restroom (never been in the men's so no opinion there).
Not a problem with this specific location, a problem I have with Mickey D's in general (actually 3 problems):
The Shamrock Shake always used to be served with a cherry on top and it is simply not as good now that you guys stopped doing that. I'm being completely serious here. It's okay, but the cherry and the tiny bit of syrup that covered it gave it JUST the right amount of sweetness to counteract the mint flavor so it didn't take over the flavor of the shake entirely.
I really wish you guys would stop serving so many of the best menu items you have "for a limited time only." Take the shake above, for example, do you know how hard it freaking sucks to have a week-long craving for a shake you can't buy or recreate yourself? I've tried to make one with recipes I found online a few times, but they sucked and I can't figure out what the secret ingredient or trick is. Can't you just create a menu and stick with it? Please?
And you guys USED to have the best fries, but now they're too skinny and they dry out faster under those heat lamps you keep them under. Too salty as well, but it takes forever to get my order of fresh fries compared to when you had the good ones nowadays, which doesn't make any sense cos, like I said, they're skinnier so they SHOULD cook faster - I guess that could be on the employees at this location, but I'm not 100% sure so I'll let you guys keep that...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any public place. We had 4 people ahead of us yet we stayed in the drive through for 25 minutes. The cashier disappeared and didn’t return for probably 8-10 minutes, then he couldn’t find our order. After searching, he found it but then the service window kept trying to give us someone else’s order saying they rung the wrong one up. We told them our order several times and they still didn’t know what it was. The service lady shut the door on us to take another order instead of helping us. (Makes a lot of sense to do that if you can’t even move your line forward without helping us…) Then she told us she didn’t know and to move forward. Then a third employee came to help us and he said no one knew what our order was. We even gave him our receipt and he took it and left. He still brought back the wrong order… We ended up receiving about half the order and just left so fed up with the service. We ordered a 6 piece happy meal with chocolate milk, 2 cheeseburgers, and an...
