McDonald's — Restaurant in Waterloo

Wow, busy place at 9 a.m. Must be the place to be if you are retired! Service was good and friendly. Food prep was not fast, but faster than most McDonald's we have been into since COVID. In their defense they were busy. Breakfast burritos, Big Breakfast, sandwiches and hash rowns were good. Last two Saturdays they were out of orange juice. Update: March 3, 2024, stopped in for lunch and wow, so disappointed in the service and cleanliness. Spouse said women's restroom was the worst she had seen in a long time. Service, well thank goodness the manager had work ethic, as she was trying to do it all. Everyone else standing around. I stood at the counter making eye contact with two employees twice. They did nothing but turn their backs to me. The manager finally seen me and said "Someone please wait on the person at the counter". Asked for two medium fries and 2 double cheeseburgers and a chicken nugget meal. when i went to the window they only had the chicken nugget meal so i tried giving them the order and the girl working walked off and started yelling. another lady came up and asked for my order and it took her 5 times to get it right and gave a super bad attitude. payed and got my receipt. noticed only one fry was on there so i asked the lady at the next window and she assured me that there was two. i pull over to make sure the food was correct and we were missing a fry. went inside to get the other fry and the girl that was at the window yelled at me and said that there is two in there. i told her i ordered two outside of the nugget meal and she said that would be 3 fries so i need to learn how to count. manger got the other fry and threw it into the bag. food was cold and gross workers were...

A few minutes after we come in somebody who's expediting for the window says he is too busy to wait on us and tells us to use the kiosk, and not even asking how we are paying for our lunch. Some customers were turned away or left because of their inability to pay at the chaosk. We hope serve customers carry their trays or get their drinks or sauces for them while we waited for our food. The food was obviously not warm waiting so long. Or barely warm I should say. And my husband did not have the bottom bun to his sandwich in his box. I understand being short-staffed that's why we were being as helpful as we could be and they had people that had called in sick as well so it's not really their fault but that guy needed an attitude adjustment he was like we were impeding on his time to be there.
