Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Watertown

Berres Brothers offers a great variety of coffees, offered in beans, ground, sample packs, and 'k-cups'. I have enjoyed their coffee for a while. First learned of Berres Bros. years ago, as their coffee was served at my place of employment. Many customers claimed that it was great coffee and I agree. Though I prefer a base of 40% Kirkland Signature dark plus 40% Kirkland Signature Decaf, I add 20% freshly ground Berres Bros. to my daily brew. I can switch up flavors and really change things up depending on my mood. Berres Bros. has so many options to choose from, so you're bound to find a flavor (or 20!) that you enjoy. I got a behind the scenes look at Berres Brothers a couple of years ago during a Watertown 'Food Tour'. Speaking of food, there are some amazing items to eat in the cafe! You can buy your coffee beans, grind them right there and grab breakfast or lunch and a drink. My favorite is the smoked salmon salad with mixed greens, capers, croutons, tomato, and their amazing dill dressing. (I seriously need to learn how to make the dressing at home!) The croutons are out if this world as well and the veggies are fresh and clean. I guess I'm getting a little off track here so I will finish up. Bottom line: Great cafe, friendly employees, clean atmosphere, good food and most importantly- great coffee! BERRES is handicapped accessible both inside and out. The restrooms are also very easy to navigate with wheelchair and clean as a whistle!! This is located near the Walmart in Waterford about 4 miles north of the Johnson Creek Outlet stores and well worth the stop. This is not only a fun place to see how coffee is made but it also has an outlet store with coffee, tea both prepackaged loose and whole beans . You can also purchase green beans here and roast the beans yourself. It features a cafe then has clean food made from scratch large variety from vegetarian/ vegan 2 Meats. The entertainment book has coupons for two for one entrees and 2 for 1 drinks. The entrees posted below are a soup and half sandwich and grilled cheese with bacon tomato pasta salad. You get great value for your money. They have free Wi-Fi and tables that seat up to 6. The restaurant seating also has tears on one side and the booth bench on the other for those of you who have parties that like both of those environments. the staff is very helpful and efficient. Disappointed in the poor customer service my coworker and I experienced today at Berres Brothers. Our order was incorrect and my coworker and I both have milk and milk alternative allergies. To ensure that we neither of us went into Anaphylaxis shock, we returned to the cafe to get the correct drinks. When we arrived, our request for the correct order was met with blame on our end and snickering from the Berres Brothers employees. One of the employees told us that we ordered incorrectly and that we asked for a hot and not iced drink and thats why it was incorrect. Usually when a customer has an issue with an order especially when it involves something a customer is allergic to, it should be fixed without attitude or blame on the customer. No apology was ever issued for the incorrect order and again the attitude from the employees was unacceptable.
