Great coffee (Colectivo!) but pretty run of the mill pastries

My daughter and I dropped by on a Sunday morning looking for a late breakfast during a break between games in a local soccer tournament. Our plans were foiled when the cashier informed us that the sandwich menu is not available on Sunday mornings. Noticing the one favorable review on the pastries, I ordered a chocolate chip scone ($2) and my daughter went with the morning bun ($1.50).

The scone was extremely dry and crumbled to pieces when I broke off a corner. The morning bun seemed more fresh, but lacked the buttery richness that I am accustomed to with a quality morning bun. At $1.50, it was a good value.

No complaints about the coffee, the Blue Heeler from Colectivo.

The place gave a strange vibe. One of the two other patrons stared at me as I picked at the crumbs of my scones. Just wasn't the warm, welcoming space I've experienced at other coffeehouses. We didn't stay very long, since I couldn't pick up a wi-fi signal and I needed to find place that served breakfast.

They're are not too many places that make frozen coffees this is definitely my favorite! I'd almost compare it to Starbucks. Plenty of space to sit ,and enjoy a cup of coffee although it is Farley busy in the morning, and mid afternoon. Staff is always friendly, and welcoming. They don't have many options for breakfast food ,plenty of dessert options the cookies are delicious! Everything else is alright, some of the items it seems the recipe always changes. The brownies taste as if its made with an off brand chocolate weren't my favorite but thats just my personal opinion definitely not worth the almost 4 dollars charged for one piece.. The horchata chiller ,and Carmel beze are my absolute favorite! They also have special coffee, water bottles ,coffee cups,clothes ,and other things that they sell as well. Its definitely a unique spot ,and overall one of my favorites for a refreshing pick...

Went to latte donatte today and ordered a big easy and a cherry valentine mocha. For one when i walked in my girlfriend and i where completely ignored and kept getting the side eye from one of the baristas while she continued to talk to her fellow co worker but ignore us. After finally getting to put in my order we then waited for her to get done talking to said coworker. Once getting our beverages we were very digusted and disappointed 😞 my drink tasted of rotten spoiled milk and laffy taffy. You couldnt even taste the espresso in any way. And my gfs drink tasted like rancid cherry lip balm and no espresso was to be found. I will not be returning to this establishment. There baristas need training badly and...
