Uptown Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Watertown

Treated family to dinner Sunday, December 17th. Four chose Uptown Bar and Grill, two chose Schuett's on Main. Schuett's was not open. We had placed a phone order and my son in law went to pick it up and added two orders in person for pulled pork sandwiches. We got a total of four pulled pork sandwiches, two cheeseburgers two orders of onion rings and some fries. Three pulled pork sandwiches were on hoagie rolls and the forth on a regular bun. While the pulled pork itself was tasty all the buns were completely charred and nearly inedible. 2 of us chose to eat the pork with a fork. One order of onion rings were really dark but okay-ish, the one other was basically fried until the onion inside was no longer existent. Consistency is important and my personal experience with this establishment has been consistently poor. With each new try, I'm terribly disappointed in their inattentive and blatant disregard for quality. I voted Schuett's too bad they were closed, I spent $65 giving Uptown Bar and Grill yet another chance to change my mind about their mediocre food and they did not. Save your money, this is not it. Will not...

So, a group of 9 of us left a funeral house to go grab some food and we noticed this place. We're not from around here. The place wasn't even half packed, it took them well over am hour to get our food and the survive was absolutely awful. The lady was rude to every single one of us, ignored us, messed up the orders, and there our food on the table while rolling her eyes. Instead of causing a scene in front of everyone, because that's not who I personally am, I left a note on the table staring I was not leaving a tip becaus did how we were treated. We did not come here to bury family, then get absolute rude service! After I paid my bill, the owner chased us down and AGAIN Rudely scolded us. Saying we "stiffed" there employees. No, I work for my money, so I should not have to tip someone who works for YOUR business. My food bill was paid, the food was the only reason I left a star. Future reference I will not return and do not recommend it due to the fact the owner was also rude and PRAISING the bad service...

BAR TENDER WAS RUDE! The moment we walked in he had a attitude towards us. We’re Mexicans and you can tell so idk if his attitude came from that but this was the RACIST experience I’ve ever had.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Reply to your response: We did not TRY to bring no underage whats so ever! We asked before our fellows daughter showed up with her child fyi. I do not believe that was the reason why he was upset because as soon as we walked in and my husband asked for our drinks his reply was RUDE stating he didn’t have the beer he was asking for. I believe there is ways to say you don’t have a drink politely ….. but he for some reason had an attitude with US only! And not with the other people walking in. Also I just want to clarify our friends NEVER mentioned anything about beating nobody up. Next time if you just feel uncomfortable with Mexicans like us you can just ask us to leave instead of making up a lie and having police come and ask us to leave for no reason. Payed for drink we weren’t even allowed...
