Lyon's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Watertown

The bar was very clean and very classy. Bathroom was nice and very clean. Great atmosphere, and I feel like it would be a good place to go and just drink. I would suggest not going there if you're looking for a place to go for dinner though. We were from out of town and looking for a place within walking distance to eat and grab some drinks. We were sitting for awhile until somebody walked by and told us that there isn't wait staff and we had to order at the bar. We ordered drinks and food. The food took a long time to get out, especially since we only ordered sandwiches. They don't have an actual kitchen, just a small area behind the bar for cooking. Once we got our sandwiches, they were pretty good. Overall, not terribly impressed, but we were looking for somewhere for dinner. Would definitely go back if just going...

Went to this place for St. Patrick's day and the price for the food was horrible, and the portions were way too small, literally ate the food and drove somewhere else to eat because it wasn't enough for my fiancee and all and we aren't huge eaters. It took longer to pay for our food than it did to eat. There was 3 people behind the bar and they would come and go without notice and they had no system. There was literally 2 people in front of me and it took 35 minutes to just pay for my food. When I got to the front and the one bartender literally threw her hands up and looked around for someone to help and I had to wave my money around for her to take the bill. For a place that prides itself on Irish food and St. Patrick's day it was a major let down and that's putting it lightly. Will never come back again anytime...

Absolutely love it!!! I had never been in there until a specific musician drew me in. I never hang out in Watertown... But we will be back! the Pub is beautiful, clean, and tasteful. I hate when a place claims to be "Authentic Irish" and then turns out to be an Irish stereotype cliche. ( ie: shamrocks and leprechauns everywhere... ) They have a great drink selection and a nice food option. they only seem to get quality entertainers. The best thing is, you will never see little wanna-be hip-hopping D-bags in there with their pants around the knees and flat brimmed hats turned sideways... LOL! The owners are super friendly and quite entertaining. Good down-to-Earth...
