Food was fine, typical McDs food. The workers however, were far from welcoming.
Let me be a Karen here though. Maybe it was the pregnancy hormones. Maybe I’m over reacting, but definitely not going back to this location.
I went through the drive thru. The one who took my order and the ones at the windows for were all very short and rude.
Lady at the speaker for taking my order, didn’t say anything other than, “what can we get you”. Made a sigh when I said I’d be using a code. Mind you, I used to work at McDonald’s, in the drive thru at that, and I know the dos and donts of how to “properly” take an order per McDs standards. I also know as a HUMAN that it’s not hard to just be decent and friendly, especially when you’re literally being paid to do so. She said maybe 2 words through the whole order taking process and that was at the end when she said to pull ahead. No order total or anything was given to me until I got to the 1st window.
When at the 1st window, I handed her the money and was given the incorrect change back. I was given $3 and no change when I should have got $10 and some change. She also gave me no receipt with it (I watched her throw it away) and when I asked if I could get the rest of what was owed to me, I got nothing but attitude and basically told I was wrong. My order was $9 and some change. I gave $20. She got super crappy with me when she then had to reprint my receipt to not only show the proper change I should have been given, but also because I keep receipts. (I use fetch so all receipts get entered) get that all sorted and given nothing but attitude and basically was told I was wrong until I could prove it with the receipt.
Get to the next window to get my food, and just because I know mistakes can happen, I always check bags. Definitely sucks driving off and getting home, just to see not everything is there. When I asked if I could get a ranch, as it was not in the bag with the nuggets I ordered, it was instantly “I have to charge you for it” and then when I nicely said “it’s just not in the bag and I ordered nuggets” I got an eye roll and a scoff and then basically had the ranch thrown at me.
I get that people have bad days, but leave that ish at the door when you walk into your place of employment. You’re being paid to do a job, act...
Read moreMy opinion for McDonald's has been going down over the last few years. The food quality is not getting any better. In fact it is no longer the quality it was was. McDonald's is no longer interested in getting you your food as fast as they used to. I have sat in parking lots for up to 17 minutes waiting for my order to be completed. They no longer Park cars for complicated orders so you wait for the other vehicles to get their food before your food can be served to you. It is often no longer hot, sometimes soggy, and because of increasing prices no longer the good value it used to be.
It has now come to my attention that McDonald's is going to be trying to put advertisements on their products to promote medical products such as the vaccines. It should be noted that more people die from obesity and comorbidity I'm obesity from covid then actually die from covid itself. Since the vaccines have a potential for myocarditis and other health issues I don't believe McDonald's should be promoting them. If McDonald's truly was concerned about public health it would offer healthier food choices and not as many empty calories and food preservatives like they tend to offer on the McDonald's menu.
McDonald's should worry about how their products actually lead to obesity and the comorbidities that causes covid to be so deadly. In addition, I want my food products to be served for their food value. If I wanted medical advice I would go to my physician. McDonald's has just lost a customer forever because they are practicing medicine without a license. The vaccines are a good decision for some people, but younger people and people with healthy immune systems, as well as antibodies from getting covid before are far better off not getting the vaccine.
It's a shame that McDonald's is deciding to become political. I prefer good, fast, and healthy food over propaganda being served to me.
I will now be seeking out a&w or Culver's for my...
Read moreJust went to Watertown McDonalds n experienced the WORST service ever. We ordered a happy meal n 2 sweet BBQ chicken sandwiches, we get the happy meal then awhile later they tell us to pull ahead as they are waiting on the grill...we pull ahead...TWENTY mins later I get out n go to the drive thru window BC the side door was locked n tell them we've been waiting for 20 mins n the girl, I can't tell you her name or anyone's for that matter as they weren't wearing name tags which is very unprofessional in my eyes, says to me very rudely "we can't help you unless youre in you're car" n goes to shut the window on me!!!!! I say, excuse me I AM N HAVE BEEN waiting in my vehicle for over 20 mins now n the door to get in on this side is locked..she goes to walk away then so i asked her for her name n she ignored me so i ask the other girl who tells me she can't give me that info so i asked for the manager n I hear the woman standing back watching it all day "I'm right here" so I explain the issue n with the most unprofessional, non-caring, rude way possible says "I'm sorry, all we can do is give you this" n hands me a free extra value meal coupon. Since when did it become okay to treat customers that way???? Definitely disappointed with tonight's service and the unfortunate thing is Mc. Donalds seems to make it pretty difficult to file a complaint anywhere and none of the employees had name tags...tell me why that is?? Too many complaints so its better to just not let anyone know the names??? So disappointed in the present working class of society...no...
