It annoys me to write this as I’ve been going to trescas for quite a long time and I never has a problem whatsoever with the food or the service. I’ll cut the chase. I went in with my wife for breakfast. The scenario was this.waitress walks over puts silverware down no interaction walks away comes back 10-15 minutes later hands menus had to ask for water she turns away another10-15 minutes as two other table become occupied she goes over takes full care of both both tables walks bye us at least4 times with even acknowledging my wife and I .my wife is laid back on this but she even mention it and said let me try at which point I said no let’s go. The worker who normally works cleaning up the place seen this and by his look he was taking it in a different manner. It wasn’t as if she was the only waitress. When we got up to leave the cleaning guy and the table who came in last got served first look and said I’m sorry with the cleaning guy shaking his head. I’m not making this up. I have 7people who go in there that experienced the same thing but 3 spoke up but it now left them with 9people who don’t go there anymore..They’re place of choice is Mario’s n In A Pickle. What I really want to say I’ll pass on it. To those who enjoy it...
Read moreIf you want to capture the dinner style experience with large portions and very reasonable prices then Tresca's is certainly worth a visit, but remember to bring cash.

This isn't trendy or upscale fare. It's very traditional dinner food that's fresh and well prepared. I favor the hash. Make sure to declare any food allergies prior to ordering so accommodations can be made if possible.
Drop by and take a paper menu. I didn't find a web site for them. They've been servicing Watertown for decades with...

The pancakes were bland even with add-ins and the home fries weren’t crispy or flavorful. There were several moments when the kitchen had burnt something and it got a little smoky out in the seating area, which also made it harder to enjoy eating. Our server was nice but didn’t check in at all or ask if we wanted boxes. It’s cash only but they have an atm. It was really busy when we got there and there were people waiting at the door the whole time we were there, so it must be a popular spot. Overall, we just felt like the food could’ve...
