Came in for a simple link repair on a watch that goes for $670-750 in the used market (not the point, but bear with me). He takes a quick look and says, "oh, this is just a worthless piece, it's really not worth spending any money on fixing this". I tell him I'm surprised to hear that about this brand, but he insists that yes, they used to be good, now they are terrible, and I should not waste my money. What? A Stone in my engagement ring fell out six days before my wedding.
