Dunkin' — Restaurant in Waterville

I drive by other dunkins to go here every morning! Their customer service is 1000 times better than the other local dunkins AND they actually make espresso drinks correctly! Today I felt compelled to review because the staff was so awesome about it when I told them something looked off about my drink. At other local dunkins they treat me as if I'm being a complainer when I'm not satisfied with the wrong drink. These guys remade it right away and were super nice about it, even admitting it did look different the second time instead of treating me like I did something wrong. They were awesome about it! My macciatto was delicious the 2nd time round, even on the rare occasion my drink isn't made right it's an awesome experience there. That's what I call customer service! No one is perfect, customers never should expect that. But they handled their little mistake with smiles and corrected it quickly. Refreshing compared to our other options in the area to say...

Absolutely disgusting food handling by one of the employees working at this particular location. I ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate, following a long hike on a cold day, and watched how this preoccupied employee was preparing my order while they were coughing, hacking, sneezing, wiping their nose with their bare hands, repeatedly touching their cellphone, then immediately touching my order with those contaminated hands. It was especially disgusting observing this employee touching the tops of multiple cup lids where customers place their mouths. Contaminated cellphones should remain in your pocket while you’re handling someone else’s food. And frequent handwashing with soap and water is the single most effective method to prevent infection. Either that or just simply stay home. I feel sorry for those customers who actually ate food prepared by this...

The good..... Fastest service I've ever experienced at any dunkin donuts drive through. Seriously. Other stores should take note. No matter how long the line is, I know I won't be in it long..... The bad..... Who the heck is making the coffee rolls? They are terrible! The coffee rolls at any other dunkin donuts i've been to (Augusta, Rockland. Etc) are all made like they're supposed to be made. With the dough rolled in a circle and icing. Every dunkin donuts in Waterville has messed up looking and "different" tasting coffee rolls. They're too fused together and taste more like an undercooked donut. I've had this convoversation with many people and we are all wondering why Waterville's are so bad. I look forward to getting coffee in Augusta on my day off because even though I'll be in line forever, My coffee roll looks and...
