Carmona's — Restaurant in Watsonville

ON SUNDAY 10/24/21 WE ORDERED A VERY LARGE DOORDASH ORDER, OVER $150.00 WORTH. HALF OF THE ITEMS WERE MISSING. NONE OF THE SAUCES WERE PLACED IN THE BAG. WE ORDERED A PASTRAMI SANDWICH AND SINCE THEY WERE OUT OF IT CARMONAS MADE THE DESCISION TO REPLACE IT WITH A SALAMI SANDWICH WITHOUT EVEN ASKING US. I CALLED CARMONAS TO EXPLAIN WE DID NOT WANT A SALAMI SANDWICH AND A YOUNG LADY ON THE PHONE WAS IN SUCH A HURRY, SHE WAS NOT EVEN LISTENING. MY DAD ORDERED A HAMBURGER TO REPLACE THE PASTRAMI SANDWICH AND IT CAME COLD WITH NO TOMATOES, ONIONS, PICKLES, LETTUCE, OR ANY SAUCE. THEY CHARGED US $16.50 FOR A LARGE CLAM CHOWDER, AND NEVER PUT IT IN THE BAG. THE GIRL THAT GETS THE PHONE WAS SO RUDE, SHE RUSHED MY DAD OFF OF THE PHONE AND HUNG UP ON HIM. WE DO SO MUCH BUSINESS WITH THIS RESTAURANT, BUT THIS WAS IT FOR US. MY ORDER WAS COMPLETELY MISSING, SO I HAD TO WATCH MY FAMILY EAT THE COLD FOOD THAT WAS DELIVERED WITH NOTHING TO EAT. WHOEVER READS THE RECEIPTS AND PLACES THE ORDERS IN THE BAG SHOULD BE FIRED, WE HAD OVER 7 MISSING ITEMS. WE SADLY WILL NEVER...

Pricey but delicious. Big open restaurant with atleast 6 beers on tap. The pulled pork was fire, the bread was so soft and fresh i almost enjoyed it more than the pork. Pork was nice andnl shredded, great flavor ans very juicy.

They have a condiment bar which I liked alot, i was able to control the ammount of sauce that was on the sammich. Bbq sauce was bold with a nice tang at the end. Fries where deliciously crunchy and seasoned perfect. They have a "shabu" sauce which is their house bbq mixed with mayo and i really enjoed dipping my fries in it lol. Brisket next time.

I went in to Carmonas not knowing what to expect but I first noticed the music. It was good dancing music that I like. I ordered the Beef Brisket Sand which and lwt me tell you every bite had the most fresh taste to the sandwich. It was mouthwatering and it just melted in my mouth. You have to come and try this place. Oh ya, don't forget to stop in to say hi to Juanita, owner of Carmona's. Very pleasant and friendly. The staff at the register was so inviting and accomdating as well. I will be back for sure. Best bar be cuue...
